Great Quality cable perfect for my iphone

I have found this to be good strong cable that performs very well indeed. I currently have no complaints in fact quite the contrary I will be looking for this manufacturer for my next cable purchase.

Otterbox is better known for its durable, shockproof, waterproof, and idiot proof device cases. When I saw this cable was up for review I jumped at the chance to improve on the cheaper cables I have. It’s very well made and looks like it will be good for its 10000 cycles claim. The only slight downside is the price compared to cheap Chinese analogues. HOWEVER, it’s reasonable to assume that in the space of time you used this Otterbox cable, you might feasibly have bought 4 or 5 cheaper ones at a price exceeding this cable. It’S not just the price as a factor, it’s the dependability. From my experience things always seem to fail just when you need them or can’t replace them Thus remove the uncertainty and buy this Otterbox Cable, IT’S DOTTORE APPROVED!

Right. On the one hand, the cables I buy only cost a pound, from the sort of spots where everything costs a pound. On the other hand I do get through an awful lot of them, so perhaps buying one very high quality cable would save money and resources in the long run?This cable certainly does seem to promise that, with it's triple-core braided construction, reinforced silicon guards around the connectors, and entertainingly overengineered storage clip?It's certainly more than twice as fast at charging my phone than the usual old toot I purchase, so that's a good sign. The longevity of it, we'll have to wait and see. I'm going to be very cheesed off if it only lasts a month.

This cable worked excellently well for 8 months, but now it takes ages to charge my phone (almost 8 hours).This is not my power bricks fault as using another cable with it charges my phone within 2 hours so it's definitely the cable. It's sadly unfixable as something inside the wire has obviously broken so the wire is pretty much trash.

If you need a USB cable on a construction site; or other hostile work environments this is for you. The wire is wrapped in a thick woven wrap. The connectors are also very nicely engineered with metal connector wraps and the best strain relief i have seen on a cable - this help the cable survive many plug - unplugging events. Otterbox also include a rubber cable wrap with a solid button to tie it up. You do need to pay for that engineering; which is why I suspect its designed for those that need the ruggedness or dependability. Throw this in your travel bag it will be working when you need it. Thats not something you can say of the cheaper cables.

This cable is well made, the braid is tight making the cable fairly stiff meaning no tangles. The connectors themselves seem to be joined well to the cable and look like they'll last.In use it was excellent, no drop outs and although it doesn't support super charge on my Honour phone it did support quick charge which to be honest is still quite fast. I've also used it with the latest Xbox elite controller (charge and play) and a Huawei smart watch (charge) worked well with both.I think there are cheaper cable options out there at the moment but for the price you are getting a quality cable.

Does what it says on the tin and charges quickly. The cable is only one metre (a little over 3' in old money) long, so a little short for me generally. However, I do like the braiding on the cable itself, which prevents tangling and appears quite robust.Connections are snug and secure, without being too difficult.The cable comes with a rubber cable tie which although useful, is actually quite difficult to undo and redo initially. However, this does loosen off a little over time.In summary, handy cable which does as expected. Well made and good value.

Meine alten Iphone Kabel für Lightning sehen nach Jahren des Dauergebrauchs (Auto, Koffer, ....) immer noch fast wie neu aus. Musste nur wegen IPhone 15 Max Plus Anschluss wechseln. Dagegen sind die original Kabel von Apple eine absolute Unverschämtheit. Schön, dass esauch aners geht. Und das auch noch günstiger. Habe daher auch Case und Stecker von OtterBox für die ganze Familie seit vielen Jahren.

Wie erwartet und von anderen Produkten bereits bekannt, liefert Otterbox hier ein sehr gutes und widerstandsfähiges Produkt.Der Einsatzbereich liegt hier beim zuverlässigen Laden von mobilen Geräten. Dazu wurde zum einen darauf geachtet, eine hohe Ladeleistung zu ermöglichen. Dies konnte ich mit mehreren Geräten in meinem Familienkreis und im Büro bestätigen - wichtig ist natürlich, ein leistungsstarkes Netzteil zu verwenden - dann kam nei mir auch die volle Leistung am Smartphone an.Die Haltbarkeit sieht man dem Kabel beim Auspacken schon an: mit gut 4mm Stärke und der hochwertigen Textil-Ummantelung ist es sehr stabil ausgelegt. Trotzdem ist die Leitung noch flexibel, man kann sie um den Finger wickeln!Die Stecker sind beide mit sehr wirksamen Knickschutztüllen versehen, die Steckergehäuse sind mit Metall ummantelt. Dadurch kann man auch mal darauf treten, fallen lassen, einklemmen, gegen die Wand werfen oder was Ladekabel sonst noch so aushalten müssen...Otterbox hat es zudem geschafft, die Stecker nicht klobig ausfallen zu lassen, sodass die Stecker bei den meisten Geräten sogar mit einer Schutzhülle passen sollten.Das Design ist trotz der robusten Ausführung noch sehr elegant, auch durch die gefällige Farbgebung in schwarz und anthrazit.Zum Transport bzw. zur Aufbewahrung ist noch eine stabile Schlaufe unverlierbar am Kabel angebracht, die bei Bedarf auch einfach entfernt werden kann.Mein Fazit: Spitzenprodukt ohne Mängel!
