I have a cheap car mount. And when I say cheap, I mean it's 4 dollars from a dollar store. I bought it hoping to avoid having to pay stupid amounts of money for something that is essentially double sided tape attached to a 20 cent plastic arm with a magnet on top. It worked for a good 8 months before Texas summer heat kicked in and the rain went away. 106 outside the car and it still held strong, until the one day I really needed navigation on my phone. Of course. Just my luck. I watched it slide off of my dashboard and right onto the floor. The sticky side was ruined, but the rest was fine. So here I went to Amazon and here I found the same sticky pads. My only gripe was they were too large, but I have a box cutter and a sharpy. I marked the sticky pad, cut out the shape, threw the useless parts in the trash. I tried one pad, but I needed two so I cut another.So far these two new ones have lasted through the greater temperatures of the year, and now that it is starting to cool down outside I have no doubt that it will work for the rest of the year. I am sure I may have to replace it eventually, but we all have to understand that glues and adhesives will give out and unless you weld your dash mount on them I doubt it will stay for eternity.I don't recommend gluing anything to your windshield besides your registration sticker. Not only do adhesives work differently with glass than plastic, but heat reacts with them differently as well. Also some states have laws and you can get pulled over for having some trash dangling in front of you face and blocking the road.

Used to hold dashcam to windshield, behind the rearview mirror. Prior to using the adhesive disk, the suction cup released randomly, whether or not the car was in motion, making driving a bit more dangerous. There dosen't seem to be any weakening of the dashcam mounting since installation.

I had needed a replacement for my car charger to stay on my windshield. Because, the one that came with it melted in the SC heat. But, I lost the car charger holder. So I wasn't able to use it like I wanted. But I can see it is very good.

I liked this product, and for this price, I felt like it was perfect. My Dashcam fell off probably due to it not being attached together properly in the beginning. Then when I bought this product it stuck, but later fell down. Thankfully for the price, I was able to have 2 more and the second stuck pretty well and still sticks to this day. Overall just a good product because it is sticky on both sides in case you need something like this.

There not as thick as what the picture provided. Def will not work to replace the sticker fromthe iottie. This sticker is too thin to be able to hold to the windshield.

After years of using the suction attachment to my front window, decided I didn't like to find my dash cam hanging by the mirror on hot days so got this. All I can say it it works. Looks like it would also work on a grainy dash board if I wanted it to use it there. The smaller size was the appropriate size, and it tucks up by the mirror, almost out of the passenger line of sight as I have the cam installed on the passenger side of the windshield.

I have used one of the three adhesive disks to reposition my car phone holder. It seems to be working well and has managed to stay in place even when the dash was exposed to direct sun and heat.
