Fortress Guardian G-7 4lb Anchor

Almost the same as the FX-7 for half the price. This is the perfect Anchor for mud and sand botton. I used it with the Yamaha 242 Limited s jet boat (24') and the grip on the sand bar is the best. Also very light weigh in contrast with the size and the grip, conclusion: the design is the motif of the great performance of this Anchor! ★★★★★

Oh man I love this anchor. I gave our steel one away. Vanessa thanked me for it. Assembly is tricky. Use a needle nose to start the little nuts. We used loc-tite on the bolts AND the shackle. It WILL come unscrewed.

THIS ANCHOR IS VERY LIGHT WEIGHT, BUT STRONG AND EFFECTIVE WITH PROPER CHAIN. IT STORES FAIRLY FLAT. I FOUND IT NECESSARY TO SPEND SOME TIME WITH A FILE TO BREAK SOME SHARP EDGES BEFORE THE SIMPLE ASSEMBLY, WHICH REQUIRES ONLY A SCREW DRIVER. I USED LOCKTITE ON SCREWS.

This anchor is so lightweight but holds much better than the heavier ones I have. Well worth the money and there's nothing like the feeling when you're beach moored for the night that you don't have to pop out every five minutes to check if the boat is aground.

This anchor is extremely lightweight. I was skeptical about it holding sufficiently but it did a great job!
