Seems to do what it advertises
We have a small travel trailer (only 2900 lbs unloaded, maybe 3700 lbs fully loaded). We are actually under the weight limit for this hitch. My husband installed it in an afternoon without too much trouble. The trailer definitely makes more noise when turning corners than our old hitch (a lot of squeaking and groaning), but apparently that is normal.I often take the trailer out myself, and it is important that I be able to do all steps of hitching up the trailer by myself. We have noticed that if you have the hitch over-corrected (meaning that the tow vehicle and trailer make an upward pointing triangle shape at the hitch), the trunion bars are almost impossible to remove. To aid in removal, while keeping the trailer hitched to the vehicle, raise the tongue with the tongue jack to relieve the pressure on the trunion bars.Once my husband finagled things with the adjustment, the trunion bars are much easier to get off, and I can do it without trouble. We've driven 3,000 miles with it now, and the hitch really has helped with sway on windy days, and the sway that comes when a semi truck passes you on the highway. I'm happy we bought it.

Not for 3” tall trailer frames
I’m sure this is a wonderful product but be aware that this does not fit 3” tall trailer frames. I did a lot of research before purchasing this product and did not find this out in any of the amazon or manufacturer sites. In fact the nearly identical manual on line even leaves out the very valuable bit of information that it only fits 4” to 8” tall trailer frames. But the good news is the seller and manufacturer are going to take care of this for me and not make me pay the return shipping and restocking fees ! Awesome customer service!

Great for small SUV's and larger vehicles
This wasn't overly difficult to install, however I watched several youtube videos prior to it arriving in order to prepare myself for the installation. I ran into a few issues which were completely my own fault. I assumed the trailer tongue on my pop-up was at least 4 inches, however, about midway through the installation I discovered it was only three inches. While you can still mount the brackets, there will be a gap between the bottom bolt and the bottom of the tongue frame which will allow the brackets to slide. I fixed the issue by welding a 1 inch piece of square metal to the bottom of the tongue and now the brackets fit perfectly. I am pulling the pop-up with a 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport, which has low ground clearance at the hitch. My pop-up also sits low, which made it to where I needed the receiver to be turned downward instead of upward in order to get the pop-up and vehicle perfectly level. I was unable to do it because it would have left only 6 inches of clearance from the ground to the bottom of the hitch. I just turned the receiver upward and set the brackets at the lowest setting which got it close to level, but the tail of the pop-up is still slightly lower than the tongue. After a test run down the highway, I immediately noticed the difference. I could hardly tell the pop-up was behind me. No sway and the vehicle handled like it does without anything hooked up. The pop-up weighs approx 2500lbs loaded, so it is close to the max that my vehicle can tow. This hitch made a world of difference and I feel much safer pulling the pop-up. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good quality hitch with built in sway control. Also, the fact that I can back up without having to disengage a separate sway bar is awesome.

Heavy Duty for Serious Towing Service - Great Customer Service
I have used weight distributing hitches over the years since my early twenties. I am almost 70 and can attest this is the best one I have seen or used. I have used the hitches that have a separate weight distribution component and a sway component. They can work but seemed like a pain to me. We drove across west Texas with a hitch with a separate sway control attachment pulling a smallish 26 ft travel trailer and the crosswinds worked us pretty hard. This hitch is very heavy duty and totally controls the sway. It also distributes the tongue weight well. Installation is straightforward, the instructions are very clear, and you actually document the process as you progress in case their are problems. The first hitch we received was very hard to use because the trunnion bars were tight. After discussions with customer service and a short video, we received a replacement and the shipping both ways was paid by the seller. The new hitch works well. Tightness in the trunnions is where the sway control comes from, so it must be present but not so much that it is difficult to use. As others have said, you need to be very straight with the trailer and tow vehicle for the attachment process to work smoothly.

Quality Hitch, but Beware the Hardware!
This is a well designed, well built and sturdy hitch. I purchased the hitch rated at 6,000 lbs. and 400 - 600 lbs. of tongue weight, but it appears as though Husky uses the same shank, head and brackets for all of the Center Line TS hitches. So, with a change of ball (2" to 2 15/16') and spring bars this thing should do up to 12,000 lbs! The instructions are great and set up is easy, with the exception of tightening the bolts. Do not underestimate the challenge of tightening a bolt to 360 foot pounds. It requires a special torque wrench and sockets that are not easy to find and are expensive to purchase. Despite the excellent instructions and materials, Husky threw me a curve with the hardware. The tool list at the beginning of the instructions calls for a 1 1/8" socket for tightening the two main bolts in the hitch head, but after nearly rounding off the nuts, I realized the nuts are actually 1 1/16" and the bolt heads are 1 1/8". This required another trip to the hardware store for another socket - quite frustrating! The moral of this story is check the sizes of the hardware to make sure you have the correct tools and a torque wrench that can do 360 foot pounds. Otherwise, a quality product. I will follow up with another review after I've put some miles on it.
