Great product, excellent customer service!
This little box is deceptively full of everything you need for a fantastic growing season. I was stunned that a 10 pack took up so little space—my husband can’t complain about storage of my GroBuckets in the off season! The product is so easy to use, it’s a wonder why I wasted my time, sweat, and money making DIY self-watering buckets in the past. My husband even got involved…which is rare. This little kit is worth the money! That said, I had a small problem with my order. So, I reached out to the company on a Saturday, heard back within 24 hours, and all was made right (plus some bonus goods for my trouble) in less than 72 hours.I appreciate being able to reach a person who not only helped, but went above and beyond to fix the problem, and even sent me info about another product that would help other growing pursuits.Altogether, can’t say enough about how pleased I am with the product, the company, and the staff!!

My best gardening tool so far!
This is my second season using GroBucket inserts and I am hooked. I'm up to 30 now for both outdoor and greenhouse use. The crops that are my favorite so far are tomatoes, peppers, and everbearing strawberries. I am a Zone 6a gardener so nothing is year-round in my unheated greenhouse, but I kept my strawberry bucket watered in the south end of the greenhouse and it gave me March berries! That was amazing and I will be doing it again this winter. You know how picky tomatoes are about staying consistently moist? I got zero cracking on any tomato. I was watering heavy, probably topping up the buckets daily in 90°+ heat, but it beat guessing. The only down side, and it is miniscule, is that the green water indicator bobber gets stuck occasionally on the housing. I give each of mine a push when I am doing my daily garden tour and it will either bob up or clunk on the bottom. No big deal. Fertilizing is easy. Add top dressing, insert sticks, or add liquid to the reservoir. My latest addition this year is a layer of tacky straw mulch and it has been a real help with evaporation and volunteer weeds. I just can't say how much I love these things. I will probably buy another 10 pack and expand again next year, that's how good and fun these things are!

A real game changer!!
I first saw this product being discussed on a YouTube gardening channel. I ordered a set of three last year and grew some tomato plants well into the fall in my small greenhouse (I live in Michigan). Those worked so well that I ordered another set of 10 for this year. With the small greenhouse, using the GroBuckets, I was able to grow green beans and tomatoes for an early picking. I will have multiple growing seasons this year. I would highly recommend these to anyone who wants to do some container gardening. Here are my top reasons for recommending.1. They are water efficient. I had been growing plants in buckets for years but water retention was a problem. I would have to water many times a day and it just drained out the bottom drainage holes. With a full size tomato plant, a very thirsty plant, I usually only need to fill the water once a day. The consistency of soil moisture makes for a better plant.2. Cost effective. This product is not flimsy. This is made to be used year after year. With proper clean up and storage at the end of the season, I will be using them for years.3. Flexibility in planting. If space is a problem, or your yard does not face the right direction, you can use this to set up plants in tight places, even just a patio or an apartment balcony.4. Better than the DIY built attempts. You can make similar systems on your own and I have tried and they do work, but my attempts do not have the same sturdy fit and build quality. Also, the time to build your own was not worth it, better to buy the better system.

These are pretty cool...
I am an avid gardener. Sadly, my raised beds have gotten fusarium wilt, and eradicating it well, it ain't happening. I am a tomato freak, so thought these might be the solution to letting my tomato beds go for a bit while I still grow tomatoes! They were easy to set up, for certain. Although my plants are not as large as they would be in the ground, they are producing flowers and tomcats, and in one instance, I tried a summer squash in one. I set up a drip line and timer to fill them up (about a minute of water each day does it---but warmer days I've had to supplement with an extra hit of water) and that's it. Hardest part of the whole deal was lugging the bags of soil, and figuring out the drip system. I watch a couple YouTubes from weed growers who'd set up a daisy chain type drip system, and this worked well for the tomatoes. You DO have to monitor food uptake. Mine starting going crinkly and yellow. Veggies are heavy feeders, and they run through even well amended compost pretty quick. Im using foxfarm bloom on them, and adding worm castings and hydrated lime to head of blossom end rot. Overall, I'm pretty happy with them so far. I'd totally be happier if these came in a larger size as the tomatoes and squash would like more room for roots. 10 or 15 gallon would be optimal. I may order more next season if after the mad heat hits next month these prove to be able to handle things well. I'd like to try more warm crops next year. For now, they seem to be doing pretty great. If they last a few seasons, that'd be awesome. Soon there shall be caprese salad, pizzas and so on! Go tomatoes!
