Japanese for Busy People Book 1: Teacher's Manual: Revised 4th Edition Japanese for Busy People Series (Japanese Edition)

This book is written completely in Japanese, so you should be 2 kyuu plus or native to order it. The book is good in that it suggests what props to bring, and will tell you how to teach the grammar structures entirely in the target language. However, when it came to teaching verbs, the guide suggested cutting out cards and flashing them to elicit a response from students. I thought the cards might be ok for Japanese language learners in Japan, but odd for students outside Japan who aren't familiar with the illustrations or the symbolisms.

I was a bit disappointed with the teacher's manual. It was simply an explanation of the lessons. I had hoped for more exercises and hints.

My students like the audio and the use of some romanji in the material. Overall, my students felt like the material was well structured and presented information in a linear, logical way.

日本語を言語として細かく学びたい学習者よりも、とりあえず会話ができるようになりたい学習者向け。会話練習を前提に構成されているので、学習者のレベルに合わせてどんどん進めることができる。会話例やポイントも記載されているので参考になり教えやすい。

なかなかよいとは思うが、完璧ではないかも。

今風な感覚で書かれていると思った。大事な文型も載っていて、英語圏の人には良いのではないかと思う。
