Ridiculously good soy milk
If you’re used to making soy milk the old fashioned way by soaking, then blending, then squeezing the liquid through a cheesecloth, and having it boil over on the stove, then this machine will be like magic to you.I could not believe it - all you do is use the included measuring cup, put the soybeans into the machine, fill with water to the line, and press start. In less than 30 min, you will have the most creamy delicious soy milk ever. It’s not even the same thing as store bought soy milk. One tip - if you soak the beans ahead of time, it makes the soy milk extra creamy and rich. If you don’t pre-soak it, it’s still good, but has a slightly thinner, beanier taste.

My first soy milk maker, great.
It works wonderful. Super easy to use. I usually soak the soybean for 3-5 hours in the night before, keep the soybean in refrigerator, then in the morning, I add 1.5 cups of soybean into the soy milk maker because I like thicker soy milk, add water to the highest line, select dry/soaked beans, press the start key for about 3 seconds, then I hear di-di, the soybean maker starts working. It is not loud. I think it is much quieter than our juice maker. The whole process takes about 20 minutes. The soy milk comes out great. I filter it first before I drink it. It is easy to clean by hand as well. It is my first soy milk maker and I like it very much. Feel so exited using it every day and will try red beans and black beans next time.

The Genius ---> Joyoung Soy Milk Maker DJ13U-G91
I have had a Joyoung CTS1048 Automatic Hot Soy Milk Maker since 2012, and still have not worn it out - use it at least once a week - it is still as good as new. However, when I saw their new design, just had to purchase it. It is a design of genius. It is simple and easy to use, easy to clean, and creates very tasty results. From Almond Milk, to Soups and cold shakes, it is worth every penny. Congratulations to the designers of this product - I have already recuperated the cost of the product in making my own milks and soups with my favorite organic ingredients - as opposed to store bought milk and canned soup. Kudos!

Easy to use, but not easy to clean
Overall, the product is very good. Produces good quality soy milk. A few things still want them to improve.1. Not easy to clean. You have to clean it right after you used it. Understand it is material limitation. But why after couple generation of products, the parts still cannot separated from the head and base. So you have to very careful not made the water got into the head. And you cannot put the parts into dishwasher, like blander do so.2. The menu is not clear. The product has many functions and buttons. The menu dose not tell what is the different between each buttons, and when I should use which one. For example, what is the different between grain and soy milk. They all look like the same, but price is different. The simple maker cost $100, and this one $160.3. Useless easy clean button. I have no idea why we need that. No different use or not.

The best soy milk maker I ever have!
Finally, I accepted my friend's suggestion that using a soy milk maker for soy milk and other similars and bought this soy milk maker. To my surprise, it changes my experience totally after three usages:1. I don't need to filter out the soy milk any more. Just drink it directly and feel very smooth.2. Soy milk tastes much better. I had several soy milk makers from different makers and had to do some tricks to make the same quality. Those tricks took me much time and eventually those machines were left in storage and were recycled eventually.3. This machine is very easy to clean. No more filter cleaning; No more hard-to-clean area; Only 2 parts to be cleaned.4. This machine is very easy to operate and soy milk quality is pretty consistent from every use.

Third Joyoung soy milk machine and broke in less than 2 months with no refund!!
This is our third Joyoung soy milk maker and it broke in less than TWO MONTHS. The first one we bought was an older model and we used it for 5 years without a problem. The second one is the same model as the current one and it stopped working after 2 years (lights all kept blinking when plugged in but machine didn't run). This current one that we bought has the same problem but it only lasted less than two months. We have been extremely careful when we wash it to avoid any water damage so am not sure why the machine keeps breaking and am very concerned it is a quality control problem on this product. We tried to file for a return but the seller did not respond to us. Don't purchase this product unless you want to risk it breaking immediately and not get a refund. Very disappointed.

This machine will end up on the countertop with your toaster and coffee maker.
If you can get past the inadequate and often incomprehensible User's Manual, this is a wonderful machine! (Fortunately, there are lots of good tips for use and recipes online.) I've made soy milk from whole soybeans and almond milk from sliced almonds and been extremely happy with the results. Not only is homemade less expensive, you can also control what's added to sweeten or flavor your milks. You do have to be meticulous about cleaning the machine properly and immediately after use, but it's not difficult. My only complaint--and it's minor--is that when the cycle is complete, the machine does not automatically switch to "Keep Warm".

Works well and makes tasty fresh soymilk
The unit makes delicious soy milk. We have also made tofu from the soy milk with great excellent results. The included accessories work well and are simple to use and keep clean. Overall, I'm impressed with quality of the soymilk maker and accessories. The design seems well thought out and the unit is easy to use and clean. So far, we use it a couple time a week for the month we've had it and it has dependably made tasty soymilk.
