This was a great costume! My son added potion bottles and a fake knife to the belt that comes with the costume. I ordered the XL and it was almost too small for my 11 year old, so do order larger than you think you will need. It included the robe, belt, cape, gloves, headdress(goes under the hat), hat and mask, so it really is a complete costume. He got a lot of compliments when he wore it, and he was completely happy with it!

SUCH a pleasant surprise! This fit my 9 year old son perfectly, but he is average height for his age and has a slim build. He received SO MANY complements from kids and parents alike. Everyone asked me if I had hand-made the tunic, the shoulder-collar cape-like item, and the belt with compartments (such a great detail — add little vials and “medicines”) because they looked not at all costume-quality fabric or tailoring. We used a different plague doctor mask that we already had and was our inspiration for the costume. Also, we picked up a pair of faux-leather boots (a little like Doc Martens with buckle and no laces) to finish the look. P.S. I used a medium-cool iron to remove the creases that came from being folded up into compact packaging.

We got this costume for my son who was begging for it. We have 5 kids. Two of the costumes we ordered were from this seller. The shipping time I was given, was a little over a weeks from when they were ordered. They were also supposed to be the last costumes to arrive, however they were the first. Much faster shipping than it stated. I loved that. The costume fits my son really well. He is 9, but he is super skinny, and kinda short. The only thing I really didn't like was the mask. I feel like the quality of the mask isn't the greatest. It doesn't look that good. I have to figure out how to make it better. The most important part is my son loves it, and is happy for it.

Very cool costume! The mask is a bit stinky, but hoping the smell dissipates by Halloween. I loved all the parts, but unfortunately, the XL gown didn't fit my 5 ft, 105 lb son. The gown fits pretty snug through the body and it has no stretch -- he couldn't get it over his shoulders. It did fit his twin (who is the same height but 80 pounds). If you have a kid who is more than 90 pounds, I would buy the adult version. I returned the child's extra large and ordered an adult size instead!

My son put on this costume and it ripped down the middle and on both sleeves. The sizing was wrong and the mask smelled bad and was not sewn correctly. I wish I had pictures but we returned this costume immediately. Everything about this costume is cheap! Do not buy! It’s not worth it!!!

My son wore this all day for an event and by the end of the day the entire seam in the back was ripped out. I had to have my MIL restitch it so he could wear it for Halloween. It seems like it is made out of a potato sack. The rest of the costume was fine.

I purchased this costume for my 8 yr old son. He's about 49" and a size medium fit him perfect. We live in Wisconsin so it was a easy costume to layer with warm clothes. The material is great quality. The belt was a little big but I was able to easily secure it to make it smaller with a few bobby pins. Overall, very pleased with this purchase.

Our history buff 8 year old son reads every book he can find at school that has to do with "back in the day" he calls it. He knew he wanted to be the plague doctor from the moment he laid his eyes on it in a book. He got so many compliments while out trick or treating. We heard, "BEST Costume we have seen this year!" many times. Great quality!
