ATTENTION CORVETTE OWNERS....this fob will work and is compatable just like the OEM,same functions,feel,look etc you can't beat the price esp for a secondary or 3rd fob to have;considering ALOT of the dealerships can not get their hands on them or have very limited amounts as in maybe a handful on hand which is a stretch;anyway,i jumped on this asap! now to be fair/clear i did NOT do the install,my local chevy dealer did with zero issues;if you take this fob to drive the corvette,it will NOT recongnize it as "Driver 2,3" nor will it allow your personal settings when you start up like it would with the "Driver fob 1" for example if you DONT see 'JOHN'S VETTE' or your personal message when you start it,***DONT PANIC THIS IS NORMAL WITH THIS FOB***.again this is normal! dont waste your time playing with the corvette options,trying to customize the dash like with the Driver 1-Fob (the corvette) will not allow it,again this is all normal(it's in the manual too!) if you DO get an OEM "Driver 2 fob" from the dealership the dash will allow the customization but with this fob,it will not; remember a 'fob' is better than NO fob at all(i luckily always had my Driver 1 fob) so this was an extra to have and again since most dealerships are running scarce on them if any,i jumped on this one!! and happy i did for piece of mind,it arrived flawless to note WITH the battery installed so thankyou there too!! remember i had my local dealership install it PROPERLY call around some dealers are cheaper on fob-install than others;mine was $150 all said and done,another 90min away was around $50. i didnt want the hassle of traveling with construction going on,not worth the risks and stress and worrying about the Corvette so i chose the closest where i go,so hope this helps,again tho VERY thankful i ordered and very pleased with this fob!

Always nervous ordering anything that says OEM from an Amazon seller, but this is an OEM key fob. Works perfectly with my Corvette.

I needed to add an additional key fob to my 2007 Corvette so I purchased this OEM part which exactly matches the original key fob I had. The previous owner had lost the original second key fob. Luckily the fob I had, had the trunk key still attached which is needed to program the new fob. Programing the new fob is kind of a "Rube Goldberg" affair. You have to start the vehicle, roll down the driver's window, open the glove box, open the trunk, place your original working key fob next to the shifter then shut the car off. You then take the trunk key and place it in the trunk lock and turn it 5 times within 5 seconds. The drive information center screen will show "ready to program fob #3" (it came from factory with 2 fobs, so this will be #3). You place the new fob in a slot in the glove box with the key ring facing out and the buttons facing the passenger door. You wait until the driver information center screen says, "ready for fob #4". You can then take out the new fob from the slot and it should be ready to go. You can test it by trying to lock or unlock the doors or open the trunk electrically. If it works, it is done. Mine worked the first time. It's best to have two fobs because if you ever lose your only fob, it is quite a complicated procedure to program a new one without having one that is already programmed and for God's sake don't lose your trunk key (I had a couple more extras cut). For the Corvette, you can only program four fobs total so take care of the ones you have!

Purchased this for my husband. He watched one Youtube video and was able to figure it out and get it set to his car. It's just as good as the original key fob.

I purchased a brand new key FOB with a year warranty and after only a few months it stopped working. I brought it into my local dealership for testing and they said the transmitter was bad. I contacted ACDelco multiple times through email and hardly received any response from them. The only time they actually answered me was to tell me to contact another store. Do not purchase any products from this company unless you are willing to deal with a mountain of headaches.
