Winsome Wood Maya Occasional Table, Black/Metal, 23.82 inches, Modern

I bought two of these end tables to compliment my new round bed I purchased most recently. I was looking for tables that were contemporary/modern, classy, clean-looking, simple, and yet, functional, oh, and ROUND! After reading most reviews, I found that these tables were worth the price for pretty good quality. I can't complain. They were easy to put together, too, with simple pictured instructions. The tables came packaged in flat, square, heavily cushioned boxes. Granted, the chrome legs may be flawed just a teensy winsy bit...nothing noticeable at all. You can only see the little scratch marks or dents while you're assembling the tables, other than that, they can't be seen, really. The round wooden parts were flawless. Once assembled, they are pretty sturdy.I decorated my table tops with ceramic vases, jewelry trees, picture frames, small lighting, a tissue box, and magazines. There's enough room on top if you've got the right sized items. I even placed my laptop on the top of one. The best part about them is the room you still have to utilize underneath the table tops, too. Here I've rotated out magazines, DVDs, a radio, and now a little pet fountain. You'd be surprised what endless possibilities and decoration combinations you can do.Many of the reviews that gave less stars talked about the tops getting scratched permanently. But I haven't really come across that problem with mine. If you feel you might incur that problem, just be cautious when moving things around or you may want to place a form of security under your items (such as coasters, felt bottoms for vases...you get the picture). Just a little bit of dust accumulates every now and then, but it's easy to wipe off.Buy these tables, you won't regret it. If they matched my living room, I would have bought both end tables for that room along with the matching coffee table. They are classy enough that in my eyes, they are timeless pieces. And if you get sick of them or decide to change your decor in the future, I'm sure they won't be hard pieces to sell off. Happy decorating!!!

All around super happy with this purchase! The table came packaged really well, no damage, all parts clearly marked & labeled. Was super easy to assemble and the leveling leg ends are a nice feature. Everything fit together as it should & the minimal instructions were clear. I love the sleek contemporary look. It's absolutely perfect for where I wanted it in my room, great size, not too big or too small. I'm very happy, would recommend 👍

This table is perfect! I was able to assemble the table in about 15 minutes. Very sturdy and looks great! Extremely pleased with purchase and will be buying another one.

Easy to assemble. Sturdy

First off these are very nice,bigger then I thought.The downside if you want to break up with your boyfriend invite him over and ask him to put this table together for you,after 30 mins a lot of bad words and insults,you will be single,putting the table together by yourself,blaming amazon low prices and the need to have this table the reason for your break up.If your gonna get these tables call your mom now tell her shes not getting any grandkids and your single these things are a nightmare,to put together after buying 2 tables,and putting them together,it only took us an hour,54 insults at the table,17 reasons why we hate each other,31 reasons why we hate amazon,30 reasons why we love them,1 breakup and 6 cartons of ben and jerrys after the break up.Im out about 100 dollars and a man,3 kids i will never have now a great house out in the subburbs,2 cars private schools for my would have been kids and a great stay at mom future,Thanks amazon.jk were still together and so are the tables but it did take an hour and a lot of insults.It looked so simple but so darn hard.

It took me longer to assemble the table than I thought, but it was worth it. The table is well made, very sturdy. I'm quite pleased with my purchase.

INSTALLATION TIP:: Some people may know this...some may not...As you assemble this product, leave the all the screws loose so you can adjust the base and legs accordingly...then once all the screws are in, go back and tighten each one. There are not many screws...maybe 12...and you use an allen wrench (provided in the packaging) to tighten all the screws. I like the product. Well packaged, good instructions, EZ to put together (maybe 20 minutes at most). Table top is not glossy, not real wood of course, but a nice matte finish that I was looking for. Legs are very solid and heavy..shiny chrome. Sits very high next to my couch. Holds my remotes and a yankee candle lol. Picture is exactly like the item. Recommend

Due to the flawed design of a large top and small bottom, it makes the unit top heavy and can easily tip over with a tiny bit of weight put on the edge. If you are buying this to put a flower pot in the middle, you'll be OK. But anything else and you'll find yourself regretting the purchase. I had to dismantle ours to return it. What a waste of time.

The key to installing this table is not to put any pressure on the legs when attaching the tops because the steel holds flex and become hard to screw in. The legs are rather close together and I find it is balanced in one spot and when you move it; unbalanced in another. The black feet can be unscrewed and adjusted to compensate for this. The steel and wood construction is solid. The look reminds me more like a stool than an end table. This look is what appealed to me as it won't stand out. Overall a great looking table.
