Very solid high quality speaker stabds
The speaker stands were very robust, high-quality, perfect finish, and easy to put together. They hold a lot of weight and the vibration pads. Eliminate any rattles at least on the speakers that I mounted. I highly recommend these.

The Best!
The cheesy, flimsy stands that sell for a little less are junks compared to this Rockville stand. There is no comparison. These Rockville stands are high quality, great finish and very sturdy. Easy assembly a snap. I previously bought a lower priced set that was junk. I returned them and bought these. I could not be more satisfied.

GREAT little stands and a good value too
I bought these to hold some moving head lighting fixtures - so they needed to be stable enough to withstand that movement without wobbling. They do that well and look great doing it. Extremely simply assembly as well. I'd definitely buy more if the need arises.

Good Stands
Nicely made stands with good fit and finish. Only 4 stars because with only 1 screw in both the top and bottom panels no matter how hard you tighten them the stands can still swivel left and right. Seems to me a bar across the top and bottom of the column would allow for 2 screw fasteners thereby eliminating any movement.

Good, solid speaker stand.
I got the 21" stands and they were fairly easy to assemble, only 2 screws per stand for top and bottom plate. The bottom plate comes with the rubber feet already attached, and the pointy carpet feet come in a separate bag, which I didn't use. The stands are great, you can't go wrong with heavy duty metal.I optioned to run my speaker wires through the pole, which does allow for hiding wires, but may not be for everybody. I used to run a lot of low-voltage wiring, so I happened to have a glo-stick I used for fishing the wire through the pole, which took just a moment to do after taping the wire to the pole. If you don't have a glo-stick, a very thin pole, or a long pull-chain to use as a guide when running the wires through the poles, then you may just want to opt for running the wires on the outside, or face some time and frustration. Also, you'll want run the wires through the poles BEFORE installing the top and bottom plate.I did have an issue in which I had to contact the seller, who responded very quickly and got my issue resolved to my complete satisfaction. Thank you Jon!

Good value. Sturdy, simple attractive design, Modifiable
I'm using these stands with a pair of Sony SS-CS5 with full "Neil Blanchard Design" physical andcross-over modifications. So size and weight are no problem. Two things are a must : 1) lock washers for top and bottom plate bolts 2) feed cables beforeputting on plates.Modifications: 1) To fill post with sand, kitty litter, shots .... , cut a 2 circles of something pliable and strong ( I used carpet pad) and shove down tube to prevent bolt from puncturing next step. I used 2 -10 gallon plastic bags, rolled together, to contain filling material. Slowly feed plastic down tube , fill with a funnel. Fill 2/3 to maintain low center of gravity. 2) Outriggers kits or DIY ideas you can find online to aid stability. 3) Blu Tack bottom of speakers

This is what 22 pounds looks like. 50 max?
The media could not be loaded. Not sturdy. I would not trust these for 30 pounds let alone 50. Watch how long it takes to stop wobbling with my 22 pound satellite speakers. The top and bottom are only connected by a single bolt that has to bridge a large gap - no mechanical keying or registration. If you tighten it enough to stop it from rotating easily you begin to warp the flat surface. The tube rings loud and long when you tap on it. I have misgivings about resonance. There’s no obvious way to fill them, and no guarantee that would help anyways. There is absolutely no way these are acoustically transparent. In a half-hearted attempt at branding the company slapped a big sticker (crooked) on the side of the tube. It would look appropriate on a skateboard deck but on a speaker stand it just looks ridiculous. Fortunately it was easy to peel off.But the worst thing is the rubber feet. They come with rubber feet for hard floors, but the rubber they use is noxious. It had my wife and I both feeling ill before we had finished putting them together. I wanted to use the feet on my wood floor but I had to rush them out of the house. I can still smell them.If you do go with these, a friendly tip to run speaker wire through them before you attach the plates. The instructions place this as the last step and I was unable to fish the cable through without removing the plates.

Well made and sturdy
Stands are very well made and sturdy. They are great for large bookshelf speakers. They are a little shorter then I anticipated but not a big deal.Stands are very easy to assemble. If you have large gauge speaker wire like I do, I would suggest running the cable through the poles first then attach the base and top plates.I assembled the stands first then tried running the wires through the holes in the pole, I ran into issues maneuvering the wire through. I disassembled the stands then ran the wire with no problems. The stands hold my speakers very well and do not wobble at all. I feel very confident my speakers are safe and secure.
