Horribly made!I was so excited to have new dish towels for my new apartment and I decided I should wash the towels before using them, that way they are totally clean. I take them out of the dryer and they are falling apart! Both towels are either fraying majorly or beginning to.I washed them on a normal cycle using cold water and a short washing time because they weren't really dirty, just smelled like plastic. Then they come out frayed like I've had them for years!And it's not my washer! I recently bought cheapo kitchen towels from Walmart (maybe $3 max) and they look brand new! After about 4 washes and being used every day!This is ridiculous!

These towels suffer from quality control issues. I do custom embroidery on towels and purchased a number of these for a client's project. Thank God I always prewash the towels prior to embroidery as a couple of them had edges that frayed badly the first time through the wash and a couple of others had a light colored thread that didn't match the color of the towel woven through the full length of it. I can't use what looks like factory seconds for my custom work and at this price point you should be able to expect consistent high quality. The ones without these flaws are very, very nice towels, but unfortunately about 33% of the ones I've purchased have had issues.

I'll come back and update this once I've washed a few times. I bought these because we're trying to use fewer paper towels, but we use a lot of tomatoes and have tomato sauce at least once every two weeks. I didn't want to stain my blue, green and white dish towels by wiping tomato juice off the wooden cutting board every day. And this is a thick, heavy, $200 wooden Kohler cutting block that will last 20 years or more, that is sealed with regularly applied oil- I'm not going to pick it up and rinse it in the sink every time, since that would ruin it, and I would injure myself. So now we have a tomato colored towel that lives by the cutting board. They're not super absorbent yet, since that usually takes a few washes, and they are smaller than I expected. These are honestly more like small washcloths rather than dish towels. That is why I took off a star. If you used this while washing dishes to wipe off excess water, it'd be soaked. Plus, you'd be dropping it on the floor constantly- it's tiny. My fiance does the dishes with a dish towel tossed over his shoulder. This would never work. But we'll see how it does as a tomato towel!

I PURCHASED BOTH DISH CLOTHS AND MATCHING DISH TOWELS FROM THE RITZ ROYALE COLLECTION. AS IS MY CUSTOM, BEFORE USE I WASHED THEM (GENTLE CYCLE - COLD WATER). REGRETTABLY, POOR WORKMANSHIP EVIDENCED ITSELF UPON REMOVAL FROM THE DRYER.. SEAMS UNRAVELLING AND STRINGS HANGING FROM HALF OF THE PRODUCT. AS THESE AREN'T TERRIBY EXPENSIVE,I CHOSE TO NOT RETURN THEM. UPON SECOND AND SUBSEQUENT WASHES, MORE UNRAVELLING OCCURS. THESE "ROYALE" PRODUCTS HAVE BEEN MOVED FROM MY KITCHEN TO MY GARAGE FOR USE AS SHOP RAGS. THEY'RE COMING APART SO BADLY THAT THEY DON'T EVEN WARRANT USEAGE AS DUSTING RAGS.. I DON'T WISH TO LEAVE LOOSE STRINGS ON MY FURNITURE. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT!

Recently purchased and have washed only two times and already one of the towels side seams is fraying. Can't imagine what it will look like after two more washings. For the price I would not have expected this. Hope the others hold together better.

I'll reorder when dishtowels are in stock as now I have only washcloths and hotpads and a thing about matching items but its cheaply maid and Amazon better get it together. Don't buy unless you're like me and just want to finish the set . I laundered before use, and then this....

I just received these towels. They came in a package of 2 for $10. I've been using Ritz Royale kitchen towels for quite awhile and I really appreciated their quality. My last package of Ritz Royale kitchen towels was purchased at a dollar store for a lot less money. The towels I just received through Amazon are much thinner than my older towels. My older towels were manufactured in Turkey; the new ones are made in India. For the price of $5 each, these new towels are a huge disappointment. Why do companies cheapen their products to save money? Keep the quality and I'll pay a little more. I would not order these towel again.

I use these towels as my everything kitchen towels (cooking, wiping up stuff, drying stuff, etc) and, so far, they have led up fine. They are heavy duty, both thick and strong, and don't seem to fade or bleed in the wash (I have sent mine through the wash now half dozen times and they are still black and I have purposely washed them with some white rags to see if the dye bleeds -- it did not). The only complaint I have is that they aren't quite as absorbent as I'd hoped...not terrible by any means, just not great...but they do everything else in the kitchen well and they seem to wear extraordinarily well. Would recommend them and I will be buying more.

Excellent why because their 100% Egyptian Cotton.They soap up water easily.Get them todayAnd get yourself some 100% Egyptian Cotton bed sheets.That what hotels use.Make sure their not polyester read everything on the page.they may say Egyptian cotton but are actually polyester and polyester is a derivative from crude oil.You will wonder why you didn't know about this before.Polyester is plastic. Clothes are made from it.... your probably wearing plastic clothes, be careful and read labels.

Just arrived, small cheap and for the price my package only contained 2 and not the 3 advertised. The delivery package was sealed but the packaging for the product was open. Had I seen this product as delivered in a store I wouldn't have given a second look.

Came exactly as described. Perfect for the kitchen either to dry dishes or hands. Much nicer than i had before. I would buy again.
