Great game for a family with different levels of difficulty. I have played with a 6 year old with the basic tiles, and an experienced gamer with all the tiles and the expansion cards. Great fun at any level! A very interesting concept for a game that is in tune with the local foody movement.

This really adds to the very fun Garden Dice game. It brought a little more randomness and complexity to the base game and livened up the play.

Adding a little spice to "vegetable chess" !
I just recently received this, along with the game Garden Dice.The expansion consists of a deck of cards. At the beginning of the game, each player will draw a hand of three cards. Some of the cards can be played at any time or at the end of one's turn. If you don't like any of the cards you've been dealt, you may discard one at the end of your turn and draw another one. The cards contain interesting effects that you can apply to help yourself or make things more difficult for your opponent. Also, scattered throughout the deck are "event" cards which will subtly alter the game conditions adding new challenges for you and the other players. If you want to ramp up your Garden Dice game, this deck of cards will do it for you!
