I'm very picky about products I purchase or try out. So far, I've been lucky with some really great pieces and this is one of them! I actually got this to try with soap-making. It's weird and totally not what it's advertised for, but I believe this will be awesome! I'm waiting for my new supplies to get here to try it out, but I've been playing with the molds periodically to see how they'll hold up.They're very thick and very solid silicone. The cubes are large, maybe just under the size of a small apple each. The ball molds are quite a bit smaller, being the size of a large Jaw-Breaker candy. The cubed molds are open on top as it would just sit in there and freeze if making ice. The ball molds have a bottom and top half of the mold, with the "top" having a small pipe or hole going down into the mold to allow liquid in. I figure this may actually make a decent mold of candles as well if you can get a wick situated in each ball and up through that hole, as well as dumping liquid into it at the same time.I'm extremely excited to try these out and I think the company did an amazing job putting so much thought and class into this product. It also comes with little plastic tabs to plug the holes on the ball mold, and a teeny, adorable little funnel to pour liquid in. :)

Is not the first one of this ice tray I have, it fills up well and makes nice shaped balls and squares.
