Good price for this vacuum cleaner. Packed well. Easy to put together. Lightweight to use. Very good suction on min and max for carpets and hard floors. Very easy to empty. Would recommend

Needed a new vacuum. Saw this on special, did a little research and clicked that button. Easy to put together. Fairly lightweight, and you can detach the motor and carry around one handed to get to those awkward places, like curtains and underneath grandma. Suction power is great, with two settings for hard floors and carpets. First use made the carpet in the living room look like new - and yes, I should vacuum more often. The pet cleaning tool isn't just a gimmick either. Tried it out on some cushions etc, removed all cat hairs etc very efficiently. Tried it on the cat, but she called her lawyer. Oh well.. Floor unit part works fine too. Had two reasonably powerful LED lights, so you can see under things and remind yourself why you need to vacuum more. What else? Emptying it is easy peasy, lemon squeezy. The only thing I could criticise, is that the actual dust/cat hair/old toenails collection receptacle is a tad small. Lots of trips out to the garbage bin, but, its easy to empty, with a trapdoor mechanism so you don't even need to stick your hand in among the unmentionables to empty it out. The suction is a might powerful to be used on small rugs, as I found out, among various Laurel & Hardy scenes of me waving the wand end about with a rug attached, yelling "Stop! Damn you! STOP!" We live and learn, and that's not really a complain about Le Shark. That's it. Very good vacuum. Tad pricey, unless you get it on special, but for the money either way, it does the job.

This is a fantastic vacuum cleaner. Apparently this is Sharks lightest corded vacuum and I think it is heavy in a good way. It is very substantial and feels excellent quality. It has lots of power. I have mine set on the lowest suction and it still has incredible suction. I don't know where it finds the dirt. It isn't too noisy either. It is so easy to empty into the bin and the lift away cannister is a breeze. Just one push if a button and then it clicks easily back into place with no hassle. The power cord is long enough so that I can plug the machine into one socket and I can then vacuum the entire upstairs. I chose corded because I didn't want the gradual of loss of power that you can get with many rechargable vacuums. If there are any negatives I would say that like many vacuums these days this Shark doesn't have a rubber bumper around the base of the unit to prevent damage to furniture and skirtings. I have also found that the top clip where you wind the power cord annoyingly catches on loose items like bedding, curtains etc. the wheels are squeaky too as you move the vacuum forwards and backwards. Apart from that I can thoroughly recommend this vacuum cleaner especially has it comes with a five year guarantee.

This vacuum cleaner is amazing!! It picks up so much dust, dirt hair and fur from my carpet that my cheap vac just wasn’t picking up I was shocked because I was hovering every other day but I have sensitive skin so I knew it just wasn’t doing it properly as I kept having flair ups, it’s a little heavy but I’m not spending up to an hour hovering for nothing it took me about 20mins to do a two story 3 bed house plus stairs which the lift away made so much easier (my old vac would tumble down the stairs often 🤦🏻‍♀️) the cable is very long which helps get it to the bottom of the stairs being plugged in at the top. This hoover is definitely living up to its hype and well worth the money. It’s easy to use and the different settings for hard floor and carpet at a click of a switch is great. The dust tank is huge which is brilliant and easy to empty. It is just over all a really really good hoover especially if you have pets or lots of hair! I highly recommend this to anyone wanting something that works well. I just love using it and I’m so impressed

Ok so 1st use and have to say, very good , light , maneuverable and quiet . Haven't used all features but hard floor and carpet and probably been a bit delusional but pretty sure carpet looks more blue , got 2 lab's that can't seem to keep hair to themselves ( it's everywhere) . Honestly didn't realise how c**p my old one was so 👍 . Now to the negative, tool placement- rubbish , power lead - now it's massive ( that's what he said 🤭) and that's great but placement off it is rubbish, you're constantly moving it from hand to hand and wrapping it up is directly over a tool holder mount , so that can't really be used. They did such good designs on everything else why mess 2 tool holder's and a cable holder up , think apprentice got those jobs 😀. Overall I can put up with it , because it's powerful and light .

I've had Dyson's, Vax's and others over the years, but this Shark vac is certainly the best, most innovative, of the lot. Brilliant for the stairs, having only the motor unit/dust collection container to carry. Easy to empty the dust container. Suction incredible, as had vacuumed the week before purchase, with another make, yet dirt collection unit had to be emptied twice, for 2 rooms! Wife and daughter both have long hair, but clearing the roller is aided by a channel in the roller, enabling scissors to be used to chop through the hair, plus all the threads (wife's sewing machine the culprit). Good crevice tool with mini brush attached, plus vacuum driven mini brush unit. Takes a little getting used to how each part separates, but no other problems.

So far very pleased. Much easier to use than my Dyson. Lift away feature is great. Very good suction, which has two settings. Mine came with pet tool and this is the only annoying aspect. The Shark accommodates two tools on its body but not the Pet tool. Not a terrible failing but you can't fit the Pet tool to it. Only the Brush and Crivace tools fit the base. Both work well and stay put when not in use. In lift away mode I find the Hose a little short, but you can fit the extension tube for high places which is useful. I got the Shark for @£139. A great saving probably due to it not being the latest model. It doesn't have the anti hair feature. But it copes with everything regardless. It's much easier to push around and manoeuvre between furniture than my Dysons ever were. Emptying the Shark is easy, just as well because it's only a one litre bin, so frequent emptying required. It seems well built and isn't too noisy. The filters are easy to remove and clean and work well. The power lead is long enough to do the stairs and fits on the Shark when not in use. The motor is powerful and doesn't seem to get too hot with extensive use. It will cut out should it overheat for safety. For the money the Shark is very good indeed. Being an old git with little stamina I find using it much easier than uprights from Dyson and Vax. That alone makes the Shark a great purchase.

Replaced my old Dyson with this great value vacuum cleaner. Like that I can carry the lightweight bit round so I can ‘dust’ with the nozzle. Cleans well. Flex a good length.
