I purchased this in a panic due to air quality related to forest fires in my state. The first time I used it, there was a noticeable difference in the air quality in the immediate vicinity of the purifier. It is not meant to cover a large area but for a small room it is quite efficient. I also run it at night in my bedroom, it is very quiet and I am no longer stuffy when I wake up in the morning.I also took this on a weekend stay, in which a plug-in sensor/alarm went off in the apartment for a minor propane leak- the valve was left ever so slightly open (alarm sensor was directly below the valve). I turned on the purifier and the light was red, which indicates the sensitive VOC sensor was triggered and working well.Finally, I am hoping to use this for travel one day. It is about the size of a 16oz coffee and is easily portable- hoping I can get it past security to use as an extra precautionary measure in the airport and on the plane.Overall super pleased with my purchase, I'm considering buying another and have recommended it friends. It does not emit ozone and does not have a filter, so no maintenance required. Great personal purifier, sleek and well built.

I actually bought this item. It wasn't free like most of the high rated reviews on here. After one year of using this, the original extremely low air output has gone down to virtually nonexistent. It may or may not have great technology on the inside but if it doesn't move the air through it, it's worthless. So, I'm left with a beautiful, useless item. Better to stick with a HEPA filter based purifier that actually moves the air through it than this pretty but pointless product. If they add a strong fan to this then it might actually do something. Until then...I'd get something else.Update: I wrote to customer service to ask about my issue...they took a month to reply and basically said that it was out of warranty but that I could buy another one with a small discount. Why would I buy again a product that didn't last in the first place?

Bought it during the Seattle smoke. This is pretty portable. Used it in our car and in bedroom. Worked pretty well I guess as we did not feel the air pollution while it was on. The light indicator if air quality was also pretty good. It did not come with an outlet charger, only an usb charger. Hence deducting one star.

I would recommend being clear about what you’re buying this for. Probably good for a car/office where you only have USB power. This unit just doesn’t have enough air intake to make a difference in a larger space.I ran a test in a 150sq foot room compared to an aging mechanical air purifier, looking for differences in dust accumulation and odor elimination. The puripot unit has a small motor and **NO** HEPA filters. There are literally no mechanisms to eliminate circulating dust, although it seems to be effective against odor/food smells.Pros:• extremely quiet• effective against odorCons:• very weak air circulation• no replaceable filters• not clear if it’s effective at combating dust and pollen (no visible difference after a 1 week long test)

Such a great product! I like the modern design, and it’s very quiet.

This compactor air purifier is really cute and would be good for smaller space like an office or s bedroom but isn't big enough to put in an area like your living room. The price is also pretty high for it's performance....

Very cute. Seems like a great idea, but it was really cheaply made and stopped working almost immediately. Sending it back. Total waste of money.
