The Medal or Cross of St. Benedict

I loved reading this book as I have a particular devotion to St. Benedict and I wear his medal all the time. It was written in 1880 so it's definitely dated in its writing style but if you don't mind that this is a great book that gives an in-depth look at the history of the St. Benedict medal. It includes an appendix for the Jubilee medal of St. Benedict, which is what we see most often these days and was struck for the first time the same year that this book was written (the rest of the book was evidently written before this medal was circulated because it makes no mention of it until the appendix).
