If buying a Scuba BCD YOU MUST READ THIS
I have two of these Atomic BCD's. There are wonderful completing products but after diving 20 years, the comfort and quality are just unmatched. I had one that was faulty and it was replaced immediately. It's regretable that someone gives a very poor rating as YOU MUST GIVE A TRIAL RUN TO ANY BCD PRIOR TO USE. Now for some wonder positives. You can be free of the octopus.... Thats one less entanglement.... The ergonomic fit is truly nice and comfortable. The lock strap holding the tank is a real innovation. Weighting is easy and provides great trimming. The zippers truly keep out sand and debris. The added pockets with D rings inside won't allow you to lose your items. Additional titanium D rings can be added beneath the weight lockets and this is never mentioned. Mount a knife on the side of the pocket. You can utilize the crotch strap for wonderful comfort when at the surface holding the BCD in place not riding up your chest and back. Let's also mention the fabric won't absorb water and dries instantly. This does make it heavier. THE QUALITY IS SO SUBSTANTIAL THAT YOU CAN BET YOUR lIFE ON IT....I DO. Buy this and see for yourself.....

No going back after this
Tried this out when a dive master on my key west dive trip let me use it for a day. Needless to say it’s the most comfortable and smooth BCD I have ever used. It just feels so durable and premium! The only thing I found annoying was the pocket space wasn’t great and not so easy to affix a dive knife. However the many pros heavily outweighs the cons and I ordered one once I got back.

Non-functional on arrival, very poor customer service
Hard to rate the product because it arrived non-functional. Very glad I decided to test it in a pool before an open water dive - the dump valve got stuck. Again, I understand anything can break but still expected better quality control from world’s most expensive BCD. And for sure expected MUCH better service - it took two weeks to get the return authorization (not even for a replacement but for the repair) ! And I had to pay for the shipment…It took whole month to have the brand new BCD repaired and I completely lost confidence in Atomic equipment and service…
