SuperPuppy Goes to Puppy Class: How to Train the Best Dog You'll Ever Have!

My dog is an (almost) perfect angel thanks to this book. It's short enough to read cover to cover, and long enough to address most important issues. I treated it like my bible. And now, anytime one of my friends gets a puppy, I send them this as a gift. Didn't address absolutely everything that I needed, but was perfect for a new puppy.

After a lifetime of raising dogs, this book was recommended to me 6 years ago when I started training a Goldendoodle puppy. It changed everything I had ever done and produced the SuperPuppy in the title!The puppy that I raised was so incredible, he had a connection with me and a happy willingness to please and to learn. He was rewarded by creating a relationship that was remarkable. He had so many admirers and everyone asked the same question: How did you ever train such an amazing dog?Sadly, he died from cancer about 6 months ago and I am starting over with a new 10 week old puppy. I reordered copies of the book (and some for friends) because it is the best, the easiest and the most effective training methods you could ever use. It isn't long and complicated.... just a great reference when you question your methods.I can already see the results and this puppy has only been with me for 5 days. He is house trained and crate trained.... in 3-4 days!Can't say enough..... great book.

My mom taught obedience for over 30 years and this was her favorite. Buy it along with Super Puppy. Easy reads and proven techniques.

Beat book for people who have never had a puppy. Worked for me!

Very simple and sensible book on training your puppy. Not a lot of wasted blabbering by the author on useless information. Short and sweet and the price is right!

Very good book for dog training

The rescue organization recommended this book but honestly - I think there are much better ones out there. There is some questionable advice around dominance theory and he refers back several times to other books. Maybe if you had them all to read together it would be a better experience, but I wasn't impressed. I've googled my questions more than I have looked back at this book!
