Sari Silk Yarn (2Pack)

Two skeins in the single purchase, as advertised. Approximately DK or sport weight. Very bright, better spun than similar yarns I've purchased in the past. Highly variegated, skeins are not "matching", but I didn't expect them to be. Very happy with this purchase.

I love the feel of the yarn. It is quite different than the perfectly balled of other yarn. I have just been ordering yarn to have inventory when I stay home this winter. Because of the different textures, I’m leaning toward a purse. I think it work up beautifully, but it will take awhile. The service was excellent. Because of the service and the exceptional product I would highly recommend Darn Good Yarn.

Although the colors are lovely, this "yarn" is of mediocre quality and separates easily between color changes within the skein. I found it very difficult to work with and if I hadn't "used" a portion of the skein trying to work with it and those portions were then in pieces and no longer part of the overall skein, I would return it. At present, I doubt I will find much of a use for it. It does not knit-up or crochet-up easily and does not work for kimuhimo either as it separates too easily and the strand is inconsistent in density. Would not recommend.

This yarn is so, so beautiful. I did find it a bit tricky to work with because it has no stretch and there’s a bit of variation in the width just due to the nature of torn, twisted silk. It is absolutely worth the additional effort and time though. I made wraps and scarves that look like they cost a fortune.

This yarn is very different from anything I‘ve ever worked with. It creates an interesting rugged effect, which might not be everyone‘s cup of tea. The yarn is tricky to work with: Varying thickness, loose hanging threads, bumps, you name it. Even as an experienced crocheter, I sometimes have trouble identifying my own stitches. The result is somewhat rough and scratchy. I would not make clothing with it. For now I’ve started a bag.

Loved the idea of reclaimed silk in a yarn, purchased it to make scarf for very elegant relative. The yarn itself falls apart when handled and was very difficult to crochet. We will likely use it as filling in another craft.

Si es bastante complicado de tejer, Recomendación.- si lo vas a tejer en gancho usa uno del número 6.5 o 7, con un punto bien calado, el resultado final me gusto pero si es bastante inconsistente el grosor y se enrolla muchísimo, el brillo del hilo es muy bonito y las madejas que me tocaron tenían mucho negro, está bien, me agrada pero no son tan coloridas como en la foto.
