Canvas Parachute Cargo Bag

Great cargo bag. Larger then the others i have. Spacious and seems very durable.

From the moment I saw the bag I knew it was of high quality. The thick canvas looks strong and durable. The bag was definitely bigger than I expected. I mean it could serve as my main checked bag on a weeks vacation or even longer. The bag uses a strong single zipper. You can probably place a lock through the zipper and the shoulder strap so the single zipper isn't necessarily a negative. There are also 4 buttons that when fastened enclose the entire zipper track. The result is a very streamlined and an aesthetically pleasing bag. I am very impressed with the quality and size given the $20 price tag. To think that I probably would have spent 3-5 times the price on something of similar quality is crazy to me. A big plus for me is that this can be worn like a backpack if it isn't loaded with extremely heavy items. A shoulder strap would've been nice but I'm just nitpicking at this point. The price, quality, and packing room are all excellent. Highly recommended to anyone but especially the traveler on a budget.

I needed something BIG, durable, super strong and of heavy weighted material to carry and protect my guitar rig: BOSS GT100 pedal board/11"x21"x2" @ 11 lbs + cables + music folders. Everything fits, no issue and there's plenty more room, which is really good since I have more gear coming (gearheads unite). Last but not least, handles are strong and the thick canvas material offers plenty protection. I also like the muted color options, preferring something not flashy since its housing expensive gear. And this may not be too important to some, but its machine washable and dryer friendly. Last, the price for value is excellent.

The bag seems really nice and well built. The only thing I wish it had was a shoulder strap. It has d rings for it but no strap.

The biggest thing is the size it holds way more clothes than you’d expect. I can easily fit multiple loads in it without it feeling like it’s going to rip or give out. The canvas material is thick and durable, so even when it’s packed full, it still holds up without tearing. If you need something that can handle a lot of clothing and take some abuse, a heavy-duty canvas bag like this is definitely worth it.

This bag is really nice for the price. It’s a decent canvas, and has a zip and snap buttons for extra security. I use this bag for storing off season clothes, so my summer stuff gets stored in the winter and vice versa. I have a lot of clothes and they all fit into this bag. I may get another one to store heavier coats. It has vintage look feel that I like. I probably will only use it for storage since I have my waterproof backpacks and duffle bags for car camping and traveling.

This bag is spacious and strong. It is the perfect size for traveleability. The handle is very comfortable, so that it is still a charm to carry it even when it is heavy. The ease of use is wonderful, with one very strong zipper; the zipper even has a covering flap that gives it true elegance.

Whenever I ride my motorcycle, I wear and bring gear that not even my largest backpack can hold. But after reaching my destination, I don't want my belongings dangling all over my arms, nor do I want to wear them anymore. So instead, I remove from my backpack this folded parachute cargo duffle bag and expand it to its enormity. It swallows everything, including my backpack. In fact, even another rider's possessions can still fit into it. As it turns out, the bag's humongous carrying capacity of 4,680 cubic inches (77 liters) is too large for my normal rides. For those, I eventually bought the mini version of this bag: the 2,508-cubic-inch (41 liters) Rothco Tactical Cargo Bag . At only 54% the size of its bigger brother, that smaller bag is more appropriate. However, I still like this big one in many ways. Because although it's large, it has short, snub-nosed ends that don't interfere with my striding legs like long duffel bags. That boxy shape also makes the filled bag stand easily. By contrast, the typical duffel bag would sit like a floppy mess and take up a larger floor space. Durability-wise, the Rothco bag's thick canvas is rugged. Plus, the handles wrap completely around the bag for heavy load-bearing duties. Then should I need both hands free, the large looping handles can be worn through both shoulders. So, yes, this can be a versatile backpack in a pinch. And because of its enormous size, I use it now to relieve me of unnecessary work. Compactly folded to the size of folded jeans, the bag unobtrusively stows in the trunk of my car. The herculean bag then unfurls to haul my groceries and stuff from the car to the house. My one trip sure beats going back and forth between the two. However, my one complaint is the canvas handles. Being 1.75 inches wide, they're void of comfort features -- like a neoprene wrap or some kind of curved hand grip -- that would make heaving a full and heavy load more tolerable. As they are now, the fibrous handles crumple into your hand like a small rope, resulting in them digging into your flesh. Overall, though, the usefulness of this Rothco bag is remarkable for its massive size, rugged strength, and easy portability - all for only $21. You'd be hard-pressed to find that kind of exceptional value nowadays.

Wanted this bag to take some bulky items overseas. So far it matches the description - although it hasn't had its first trip yet it is filled and ready to go. Feels very solid. Surprisingly it looks really good too! -- update: just arrived after 3 flights (>10,000 km) and the bag is in great shape even after Air Canada's sometimes less than delicate baggage handling! I am really satisfied with this bag. Tip: I used a re-usable tie-wrap to hold the straps together to reduce the chances of them getting caught in the baggage handling equipment. I used the tie-wrap to connect them to the metal ring near one end of the zipper. I locked the zipper shut using a small key-lock to attach the zipper to the metal ring at the other end of the bag.

キャンプの薪用に購入。容量はかなりある。二晩焚き火する分の薪は入った。生地の厚みは十分ですぐには破れなそう。また、硬すぎないので、くるくる巻いてコンパクトにしまえて便利。商品開封時は強烈な酢のような臭いがしたが、二、三日そとに干したら気にならないレベルになった。車内の後部座席においても臭いで頭が痛くなるようなことはなかった。買ってよかったと思う。
