These are incredibly supportive and flattering, more breathable than your standard athletic style leggings thanks to being mostly cotton, but still built with structure and a very wide band that has a mesh inset panel. I have a larger lower stomach and a bigger waist and this is the best fitting pair of leggings I’ve ever had. It holds me in there while leaving some breathing room around my waist. These are not see through either! Win win win. For reference, I’m 5’7”, 260 and I generally wear a size 18w/20.

At first I was skeptical about if it would really flatter me. I ha e 3 boys and 2 of which are still little. I had them back to back so with that I have a pouch. I got these, I tried them on and they were TIGHT to put on. Once on though they were comfortable and the best part? It flattens my belly. I ordered my normal size and they were great. I reccomend them. I am currently trying to lose the weight, and I feel like even when i lose weight it will still fit. The stretch is great.

These are very comfy! Wide waistband that stays put. Cotton. I may order another pair.

I own numerous pairs of black leggings, but these No Nonsense leggings have quickly become my new favorite, so much so that I ordered a second pair.  No Nonsense Women's Great Shapes Cotton Shaping Legging, Black, Large  These are very flattering and extremely comfortable.They were featured on Amazon's Fashion Video segment one day, and looked great, so I decided to give them a try.The hidden waist panel, choice of fabric, and cut of the garment work well together and provide a flattering silhouette. I am 5' 7' and 130 pounds, and the large fits perfectly, great support without being too tight. Waist stays-up, doesn't roll, and provides a streamlined look and feel that you do not get with traditional leggings. These do not look or feel like control-top nylons/tights, regardless of the fact that they are made by No Nonsense.⭐️ FAVORITE FEATURES:⭐️✿ NO Big Bulky Waistband::The firming panel on the underside is what keeps the leggings up/on, there is no traditional waistband to speak of. This really gives them a more polished look and feel. No waistband that roll-down with these.✿ Invisible Firming Panel:The firming panel area is unnoticeable from the outside. Outer layer of legging is made entirely of the same cotton-blend fabric as the rest of the legging, it is the underside of the waist only that is lined with the firming panel material. These stay up nicely on their own and don't fall down.✿ Lining is Comfortable: Lining is all one piece, comfortable, and is not constricting at all. It is not overly tight.✿ Firming Panel Coverage Area:Full coverage, from your waist down to the top of you buttocks. The panel is one piece that runs all the way around both the front and back, NOT just in the front. These do not look or feel like maternity-style pants.✿True Black: True and consistent black. Not faded or dull.✿Tapered Leg: Tapered without being tight, even a little loose around the ankle area, which in my opinion makes them a little dressier.✿Wash Well: Wash Well, no shrinkage to speak of. No noticeable fading.🌐 OVERALL:Overall, I couldn't be happier with them. I have two pairs and wear them constantly. I’m extremely disappointed! These have been my go-to leggings for years and only leggings that fit me just right. Not only did the cost almost double, the cut of the pattern totally changed to where the ankles are loose and the waist not supportive while the legs run tight. The fabric also heavily pills in the crotch area after just a few times wearing and washing. Total garbage. I ordered multiple sizes/pairs to see if I could get away with going up or down a size and that didn’t work as the cut is so different. And there’s nothing to be done about the quality - I was hoping it was just a one-off, but it’s not. All of these leggings have changed for the worse, by a lot, and I’ve tied multiple stores and brands and still can’t find anything as good as the version of these leggings from a few years ago.I wish companies wouldn’t mess with the pattern and their fabric suppliers when they have a good thing going. These are a waste of lots of resources including shipping, human energy, time, and materials. Would now give 0/5 stars if I could. Wish they’d return to previous product - this ain’t it anymore :(

These run small and are very tight for me. When I was bent over my daughter told me she could see my underwear so they’re a bit see through

I’ve tried every kind of legging, and these ones are actually very affordable and fit nice. They are not see-through. I feel they hold the shape together. They wash well very happy. I bought a whole bunch in all styles

These aren't like Athleta or compression or butt lifting leggings. They are basic leggings which have a good weight and aren't too sheer, but the tummy panel provides enough support and construction. Very very flattering. I wish they made other colors like navy or brown, but the black ones are perfect. Have 2 pairs now and always want some around. Worth the $$$!

Love the leg length. The color loses its darkness too soon, otherwise they are awesome and comfortable.

I have about a dozen pairs of full length and Capri Leggings made by this company and I love them. They don't have the control pants that this style has. I ordered a size up after reading the review and they fit at least a full size smaller. The extra large is a little tighter than I'd like but they are the same great quality and I've kept them, it's an incentive to lose 5-10 lbs so they will be super comfy to wear!!!
