This is a great product, and does exactly what it says it does. The first time I used the change feature I messed up slightly because I wasn't sure what it was doing and tried to interfere...don't! The best advice is press the button and just leave it to do its thing - then it seals your bag nicely, you can take it out and it then closes and inflates the next bag perfectly.Other than that it is responsive in opening, looks smart and is easy to wipe down if needed. Ours is still working on its first charge after four days and two bag changes, so battery life seems pretty good so far. The size is perfect for us as a couple as we generate very little waste (our two changes in four days results from testing and tidying up in order to do that!), but for a family this would only really be suitable as a supplementary bin in a lounge, bathroom etc, rather than your main kitchen waste. If they do a 50 or 70 litre version in the future then that would be your go-to - and I'd buy one of those for my hobby room in a flash (where I don't want to be emptying the bin often, and the waste I generate isn't food-based.We got this at a reduced price and it was definitely worth it...I wouldn't have paid the standard price though, and we'll have to see what ongoing costs are with the dedicated replacement bag stacks.

Bought it in November and it’s been a week it’s not working we charging it but it’s not charging wouldn’t recommend paying all that money and to last 7 months!!!

I am modifying my review and increasing the score from 1 star to 4 stars. Firstly, I got good response from the manufacturer in respect of a problem I was having. There are two modes -automatic opening, where the bin lid opens when a proximity sensor is triggered, closing a couple of seconds after and -lid stays open mode which does as it says - I want to use the -automatic opening mode (as will most people, as this is part of the "smarts" of the bin).So the problem that I was initially having is that the lid kept staying open and in trying to switch modes by touching the front button, I accidentally triggered the end of cycle where the bag seals itself and after removing it a new bag fills the bin. I wasted 5 or 6 bags in trying to trouble shoot this problem. I finally figured that this behaviour was not due to it switching to -lid open mode, but because there was a slight overhang of my kitchen worktop about 2ft above which was constantly setting off the proximity sensor.The other problem which remains is that the front button which is supposed to switch between modes with a short press and trigger a bin sealing cycle once pressed for 2 seconds or more - in fact the new cycle is triggered way to easily even with a short tap on the button sometimes.After relocating the bin, it now works well and the mechanism is very impressive.However, two things to watch out for:1. The bin must be placed so that there is nothing above the proximity sensor (however high)2. Do not touch the front button except when the bin is full and you actually want to trigger a bin sealing cycle.

Its an expensive bin with a motion sensor.that seals itself.And puts a new bin bags in.I dont need it. But I love it!We use it as a bathroom bin. As it gets filled up with feminine products, the motion sensor and ability to seal and refill itself at the press of a button is brilliant.Make no mistake. You dont need this product. A pedal bin will do most people. But if you are someone with a bit of disposable income and like gadgets, this is a must buy for the bathroom.

I love this. It’s clean, simple to use and glad to have it. However it randomly stops working and I’ve sent countless messages seeking help and not one reply. Disappointing. Hence two stars. It’s too expensive to not get help with it.

So, I bought this bin thinking it will help in times of covid, and help my chaotic-ness in the kitchen - which in all honesty, it does. However, it is very small, I wish there was a bigger one, especially for the price of it - but it is still good for what it is. Also, one more bad note: our motion detection is going off all the time. When all the curtains are closed, all lights off etc - we wake up to the sound of the bin going off like a maniac.Overall - it's a good bin, quite clever, and nice looking; but it does come with its flaws. Please make a bigger one!

Brilliant bit of kit! I use mine for food waste and wet cat food waste (barf). Not sure there’s any way to stop the stink seeping out (and flies manage to trigger the opening mechanism every now and then) but having it seal up the bag for you makes emptying the bin a less unpleasant affair. No more holding my breath! So glad I bought this!

Do you avoid trash duties bc it's too stinky, heavy, messy, hard to replace the bag? Say no more this is the closest thing to getting someone else to take over that duty for you. It put the bag in, the sensor sees you coming a mile away and opens the lid for you, it seals the bag when it's full, makes room if you overflowed a bit and puts a new one in once you remove the bag. Genius! I no longer struggle with this chore. No more stinky trash in the kitchen it gets tossed before that can even happen.

Werk zeer goed en de prijs is meer dan goed. Maar er zit geen lader bij enkel een US laadkabel bij mijn vorige zat er een lader bij bezit er nu 2 en ben er zeer tevreden over.

Super toll. Wir benutzen ihn für unseren Bioabfall. Einfaches Handling und keine dreckigen und stinkenden Hände mehr. Ist sein Geld wert. Kann ich nur weiter empfehlen 👍👍

Faccio questa recensione dopo 8 mesi dall'acquisto. In questi mesi non ho mai avuto problemi di nessun tipo. Il bidone funziona molto bene; si apre non appena rileva un movimento sopra di lui e si richiude dopo qualche secondo. Trovo molto comoda la funzione di chiusura dei sacchetti in quanto le estremità vengono scaldate e fuse tra di loro, così da evitare l'uscita di spiacevoli odori. La batteria, come specificato nella descrizione, dura veramente moltissimo. Viene fornito con il cavo di ricarica usb che non è proprio lunghissimo e inoltre il connettore che si collega al bidone è di quelli da 9mm. Sinceramente avrei preferito che ci fosse una usb-c per questioni di praticità. Per quanto riguarda i sacchetti, purtroppo sono proprietari e le ricariche non costano poco. Non ho riscontrato però la fragilità di cui altre recensioni parlavano.

Después de probar varios cubos de basura, que si incomodos por la tapadera, que si muy largo y al sacar la bolsa era un toston, otro que se oxidó. Tenía dudas de comprar este porque pensé que sería pequeño pero decidí probar. Estoy encantadas con él, lo tengo en la cocina y para basura del día para dos personas es perfecto. Es muy práctico se abre la tapadera sóla al acercarte y se cierra al alejarte o si quieres que se quede abierta, pulsas un botón. Las bolsas se cierran automáticamente con un sellado. Se deja pulsado el botón y hace el autocierre de la bolsa y cuando la sacas coloca la siguiente bolsa automáticamente. Muy muy cómodo. Lo recomiendo 100%
