Feng Shui Dos & Taboos

A friend suggested this book and after looking at hers I had to have my own copy. This book is great for someone that is interested in feng shui. I really like the information it gives and the suggestions. However...I can't tell whether the actions I have taken due to this book have really changed my life (example: tossing all of the dried flowers I've saved over the years) or whether it's me tricking myself mentally by believing it will improve my life...which essentially makes it an effective book whether it's real or not, right?I say give it a shot with how inexpensive you can get it for and regardless of whether or not you believe in the power of feng shui, it will inspire you to remove clutter and baggage from your life.

Friend loved it. She decorates with Budda and eastern decor.

This is good for gullible Westerners only. It's a quick fix for the uninitiated, which unfortunately can even make your luck worse. I found that out the hard way after months of endlessly being pre-occupied with Feng Shui and using this book as guide.Find out your Kua Number (based of your birth date) and your annual Flying Stars, which changes per year. Then orient accordingly.And if you're really serious, get a complete and in-depth Bazi reading instead from a master, not online hacks with their confusing and contradictory 'views', which are often regurgitated rubbish.Don't joke with your Inauspicious Directions - neutralise them immediately and take advantage of your Lucky Directions. More importantly, don't use so-called guides/gurus as this author for quick fix solutions. Selling basic common sense infos passed off as some grandmaster's tool without consideration for accidentally enhancing unlucky directions can mean not only disasters but total loss.

very applicable and easy to read little book. Indications are clear and applicable for any situation you want to remedy at home and in your life. Very happy with it.

This is such a cute and informative book. Very straight forward for beginners.

does give lists and suggestions concerning how placement effects flow of energy, but seemed difficult to do if one is already in a situation where ther are givens that can not be avoided.

This is such an amazing book. It explains feng shui in such a easy format to understand. It is easy to get overwhelmed on the art of placement when you read a lot & read a lot of different "experts"... I want to email Angie to see if she can do a consultation for me & my new home I am building!!
