Superb for furniture and auto waxing!
I purchased these primarily for waxing furniture and they are excellent for this purpose! Wax can be applied directly with the cloth, or for a light application, wax can be placed within the cloth so only a minimal amount goes through the fabric. There was no lint which is of great importance. The cloths were equally effective for car wax. Would definitely buy again!

Very good, but not THAT much better than a standard microfiber
I didn't like these quite as much as the Griot's polish removal towels, but they still performed admirably. They were only slightly better than a cheap microfiber towel whereas the polish removal towers were very noticeably better. They are well constructed, however and I appreciate the scratch-proof silk piping.

Leaves fine particles on vehicle
They work ok for a while but start shedding and leaving fine strands all over the area used on. This can happen after placing microfibers in dryer, but these have never been in one as i never use a dryer for MF towels. Wouldn't buy again.

A Micro Fiber Towel Like No Other!
I thought I knew all about micro fiber towels for car care, etc. but these are the very best. Anything but flimsy, these are micro fiber towels with substance. They really work great for removing the wax you just applied to your car's paint. The way the edges are made is special too. I'll certainly buy more of these in the future and I certainly won't be using the bargain brand kind on my classic cars ever again.

terrible!
I bought these MF towels thinking that they are of superior quality than those at Cost**. You get what you pay for, right? $17 for 3 Gritos towels vs $15 for 36 at Cost**. These Grito's towels are worse in quality compared to the cost** ones. DVD-R scratch test shows these scratch slightly more than the others. But what is really bothersome is that the ends of the red nylon thread that is sewn around the cloth to prevent fraying is burnt to prevent them from falling apart. This creates a hardened end that easily scratches paint. Furthermore, I do not see these doing a better job of picking up wax than the other towels. Overall, these Griots towels are a rip--nearly $6 dollars per towel and they do not do a better job (or even worse job) than the 42 cents per towel that you can get at cost**.Just from this experience, I will never buy any Griots products again.BTW, the thread that is used to sew the edges are not microfibers and they scratch. Your best bet would be to get MF towels with edges that are folded onto itself and sewn.

Not very good towels
Seems cheap to me. Ended up scratching my clear coat too (the red edges).

Get these!
There is nothing better for removing wax from a car. For many years, I used old T-shirt and worn towels to do the same. These are a technological improvement. As soon as the wax sets, I simply wipe the surface, turning as needed, and the car looks fabulous. Get these! They’re worth the cash.

Excellent for wax removal
I've been using these towels for a few years now to remove wax and sealant. I think they work really well (better than anything else I've used) and last quite a while. They do seem to be a little high in price but I will continue to buy these because they've proved to be worth it.
