Pleasantly surprised
Honestly, reading the reviews I was expecting a hunk of junk but I really needed this item so I ordered anyways and hoped for the best. Here's my review: it has many different wash cycles to choose from and it's very customizable. The only thing that it doesn't have that I wish it did have is a "plus water" option. For heavily soiled clothes (or clothes that have a soured smell) that require more water to flush the undesireable smells out. The washing time seems very accurate which doesn't seem to be the case for many washers. If it estimates 45 minutes it usually takes right around that amount. The dry cycle is not accurate at all. It could say 1.5 hours and finally stop after 3 hours. It keeps going until the clothes are dried to a certain level so it could take 1 hour or 4 depending on load size and density. It is a condenser dryer. Meaning it heats the clothes up and instead of the moist, hot air leaving out of the dryer through a vent the steamy air is condensed into water and pumped out. It takes about 2-2.5 hours MINIMUM to get things about 90% dry. Your clothes will never be the 100% dry like using a conventional vented dryer so just expect that before you buy. Just a tip, when you first pull them out after a dry cycle they will feel really damp (maybe 60-70% dry) and if you don't know better you'll want to run them through again but if you just remove them from the dryer the remaining steam escapes from the clothes and after a minute or two they will feel about 90% dry. Because it doesn't dry them with dry heat, my clothes are all now luxuriously soft. Dry hest really makes clothes stiff. A couple downsides (in my opinion) the first 40-50 or so loades will have a slight rubbery smell from a rubber seal inside the unit. It will fade once you break it in. Another downside, it does not have a lint catch so you will have to pull soggy lint off the rubber seal often. It will take about 4 hours for a load. If you overfill, your clothes will come out of the dry cycle horrendously wrinkled. Jeans are the worst for wrinkling, 2-3 pairs per load tops. Still worth it for me to not have to go to the laundromat and it has a larger drum than my last combo! You can actually fit quite a lot in.

Good response
I bought this a year ago and it worked fine until this week when the dryer function failed. The manufacturer was very responsive and I'm now waiting on a service call. Tip: Before you install the machine write down the serial number that's on the back in case you need to reference it for service reasons later.

Can't beat the VALUE/PRICE ratio
Perfect combo for an R.V. or small apartments. Does not require an outside vent nor special electrical outlet. It has tons of modifiable programs (my wife says most of these are useless since she always uses the same one or two ...) and you can even add your own personal program if none of them fits your need.Very good purchase

So far so good. A little tricky to figure out in the beginning, and there is definitely a rubbery smell for the first few loads. I recommend running a tub clean a few times (a setting that's actually on the unit) and maybe that will help it diminish faster, though it might also require using the drying setting to help work it out.As for the drying... Yes, it dries clothes. I haven't messed with it enough to figure out if you can get it to dry immediately after your wash so you don't have to mess with it. I just turn it to the drying setting. It DOES get the clothes hot, and they do in fact get dry.

I would buy it again.
Was a bit skeptical after reading the reviews, but decided to buy this machine. Came in a timely manner and was easy to set up in my motorhome. This machine is replacing a Splendide that came in the motorhome that died after 5 years, and the company quit making parts for it. My wife said the Media has larger capacity and dries better. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars it because the manual that came with the unit would be better used for the toilet (if you know what I mean). Has more useless information than useful, and calling the company is no better. The representative told me he only knows what is in the manual and that he was reading the same manual I had. THANK GOD for YouTube. My wife found a video that takes you through a complete wash/dry cycle, including the washer stopping at 15 minutes on the timer and continuing to run. This is a safety feature to cool the unit after the drying cycle to prevent you from getting burned (the representative didn't know about that one and not in the manual). Anyhow, for the price and capacity you can beat this machine.

This one is the perfect size for this apartment
This little washer/dryer combo is a Godsend. My brother and I moved from a large house to this tiny Senior community apartment with no w/d hook ups and the available space has forced us to become very creative. I would have never considered an apartment without a washer and dryer hook up had we not had been displaced by hurricane Irma and staying with my son and his wife who also live in a tiny apartment for three weeks. I have been researching the all in one washer/dryer combos for years, but I was planning on purchasing a much larger one. This one is the perfect size for this apartment. It is very powerful and cleans really well. Some of the clothes are not completely dry but I like them a little damp because there are fewer wrinkles and the clothes feel so much softer. Within a few short minutes the clothes are dry after removing from the dryer. I also purchased a furniture dolly so that we could roll it around when we needed to do our laundry. I hooked it up to my kitchen sink with no problems at all. We both love this machine because the first couple of months we were loading up all our laundry onto a cart and rolling it down a very long hall way and then on to an elevator and then driving to a laundromat. For the price, the quality and the seamless delivery, I don't understand how anyone could give this product anything less than 5 stars. I could go on and on and I rarely do reviews but this one so deserves it.

DO NOT BUY!!!! This combo W/D can not go into spin mode without jumping around and beating up your walls. We even tried bolting it to the floor and it still ripped our bolts out of the concrete. It is not a level issue, we did that at the beginning. Deserves a 0 star.
