Go with another option
I bought the cardboard to test out the Virtual Reality (VR). In that purpose it works fine with my galaxy S6 edge. Now for the problems I bad with this headset was that my S6 edge would actually side out of the holder I guess because of the smooth sides which almost cause me to crack my phone (but I didn't BTW :) ) The other problem which was major is the fact that this version doesn't come with a nose pad for your viewing pleasure. After just 30 minutes it dug into the bridge of my nose and left a mark and it definitely hurt. After a day it went away but still hurts in that area. I suggest paying a little more for the other cardboard headsets with the nose pads to truly get a good comfortable glimpse into the VR world.

Top rated gift for holiday ages 6-15 were EXTATIC. Definetly get the ones with the headband strap included. Packaging and shipping good. This item is a great introduction to virtual reality goggles at a reasonable price, cardboard sturdy. Though it lacks the "fancy" details of plastic, the function is terrific. Kids and draw or decorate the cardboard themselves if inclined. If enjoyed, higher end goggles can be explored without feeling that money was lost.

Absolutely a must buy!!
We, kids, etc. fight and draw blood, I'm next!!!!! My grandkids and my in-laws loved it. They compared it to in-store samples at $2-400 and this worked just as well!! I'll buy several for x-mas!!!! BEWARE! The only problem is all users have to possess a cell phone. Which for kiddies, is not convenient. So, they are always bugging and annoying adults for their phones, Grrrrrrrr.

My kids won't stop begging to play with this. The first time I tried it, the QR didn't give me the right setup. An email came soon after my purchase that allowed me to correct it. I'm not sure why the QR code was incorrect, but I'm grateful for the email that helped me fix it.

Works!
It took some tweaking to calibrate it with the online content (there are detailed instructions online), but once I got it working, it was worth it. Cool VR experience.

Is everything supposed to look totally blurry? Cause it does. Unless I'm doing something wrong, the view quality sucks. And yes, I did take the plastic off the lenses. It's going back.

good viewer. doesn't work with Nexus 6 (6p may be ok)
Works as advertised. Note that the Nexus 6 is too large and closing the tab holder causes the power button to be depressed.
