Great value for your buck!
I've always love Chestnuts cream, Creme de Marrons as we call it in France, the Clement Faugier brand is the most popular one that you can find in any supermarket in France and it's cheap. However, when you live in the US, not only you cannot find it anywhere, or if you do, it cost 3 times the price you would normally pay. Because I love it so much and was really craving it, I did spend something close to $20 for 3, 1 oz tubes that I ordered through Amazon. Yes it did satisfy that craving but not worth the price. Until this Christmas when I was once again craving it and looking to buy some, I found that this vendor had a 26.4 oz version of my favorite Clement Faugier chestnuts cream for $14.95 which is way less than the 3 oz tubes I paid a fortune for a previous year! I've been raving about this with all my French expat friends! Thank you for making it accessible at this price to all of us expats.

A favorite product in more friendly packaging!
I was raised by my immigrant grandparents to love chestnuts and to know that Clement Faugier chestnut products were excellent. They've often been hard to find and expensive, though, and since I now cook mostly only for me, opening a whole can usually isn't very practical. I was delighted to come across this reclosable pouch, that will keep long enough in the fridge to make it reasonable for me, and at a good price! If you are not familiar, look to British recipes for use of sweetened chestnut spread, especially with chocolate. Or just spread it on toast!
