Well, I am a herbalist and deal with herbs and various types of infusions/extracts on a very regular basis and hence I am careful in writing a review.I have purchased from other brands and this one at the moment was the cheapest and I thought what can go wrong with a simple standardised extract filled into capsules and bottled, well I was way off the mark.Other brand that I have used was 160 mg and it certainly had a more effect than 1000 mg - now that is strange.The outer shell - that the company claims to be Veg seems like hard gelatine - although I am not certain of that.The packaging again seems to be poor and the bottle arrived looking unkept - it's not a professional job that I am certain of.To my mind the company did not purchase the extract from a reputed source and is either not standardised or is full of filler material.If one opens the capsule to check out the filling - it is like saw dust - which clearly indicates that it is not extract at all but just powdered plant material and that explains the large sized capsule of 1 gm instead of a recommended dosage of 150-400 mg.I can't return it - but thought of at least sharing this experience with others so that they can take an informed decision.
