Cute, cheap product. Starter holes in the shelves for the screws don’t line up correctly with the holes in the brackets. Kind of tricky to get the screws started without the holes in the right place. I’ve offset the bracket from the holes slightly in the photo so that you could see the misalignment better.I liked that the shelves were actual wood, however, this product came with scratches on it.If it wasn’t for either of these things, I would have given it 5 stars.

It was fairly easy to install just the right size for the small office space I have. Sturdy too. I really like it.

Shelves were exactly what I was looking for and I ended up using different wall mounts as the anchors provided are the cheapest I’ve ever seen only half were usable.

I have several of these through out my house. I love how smooth the surface feels.

Overall, I do like them, they look nice where I put them and with the wall anchors they feel sturdy enough to hold a decent amount of weight. Installation was easy enough if you've ever put up shelves before, there is nothing overly different or complicated about it. It comes with 2 anchors and 2 long screws to hang each shelf, which is plenty if you do it right. You do not need to use 4 anchors for each shelf unless you are putting some seriously heavy stuff on these, in which case I suggest you look elsewhere anyway. Additionally, there are predrilled holes for attaching the bracket to the wood, but i didn't not use them because I wanted a little more of the wood to show on the other side of the bracket, but this was still easy to do by hand without the predrilled holes. Also I will say definitely have someone help hold the shelves up when marking where to drill the holes on the wall.It IS real wood and the color is nice, not sure why some people complained about the wood type, it feels normal to me, albeit one of my shelves did have a few scuffs on one side, they weren't very noticeable and I just made it the side no one would see when hung.I also like the satin black look of the brackets, HOWEVER the reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the brackets were not properly packaged with any cushioning or covers so they arrived with noticeable scuffs on the corners where the paint had been chipped/rubbed off from clanging together during transit. I posted some pictures of this. It wasn't the end of the world for me because I was able to cover the scuffs with some black sharpie, which did the job well enough, but obviously it's not perfect if you inspect it up close. I put my shelves in a darker area by my back door so I'm fine with it because no one will probably ever notice but if you need them to display things in a prominent area of your home, they may not be the best.

These shelves look so good! The only thing that keeps it from getting a 5 star, the small screws that attach the metal to the wood do not stay in very well. They are fantastic shelves and they really do hold a lot of books and weight.

It was an easy installation. The shelves look nice, and the planks are a nice color albeit lightweight and are as sturdy as the thin planks allow them to be.Don't expect to hold 50 lbs, but they are holding up nicely under the weight of the books I have shelved. Highly recommend them for lightweight books and decor.
