ROCKY1000 Gram Insulated Hunting Boots with 3M Thinsulate

These boots have a side zipper, when opened, allows one to slip on and off feet with ease. The 1200 value insulation keeps feet and lower legs warm on cold morning hunts. These boots are also water proof keeping feet dry Avon rainy days. However, the best thing about the purchase of these great boots was the price.

I like the fact that the disposable foot warmers actually work in this boot. They let air flow into the boot so the warmers actually work when your out doing a long sit in a tree stand the boots are very comfortable once they are broken in.I also haven't had any issues with my feet getting wet while being out in a few rain storms.Overall a good boot.

For winter outside work it's very good, warm , insulation quality very good, look not to bulky, returned because I changed my job, will by again if my winter will be outside in the winter

I havent worn them yet. That with a problem with the first time I ordered these, I cant give a 5 star. I will be wearing these during the winter for waterfowl hunting and doing chores on my farm. I dont foresee them having any leaks. They are built like any Much style boot. Pressed molded rubber. The zipper doesnt open up into the boot, so no leaks should happen there ever. Even with the stitched seams, you just wont put any pressure or wear on that area of the boot. I ordered a size bigger then I usually wear so I can wear a pair or two of insulated socks. I own a number of Rocky boots and shoes and they have all held up way longer then you would expect.

Update after 3 Hunting Seasons 2022. These boots are trashed. They have literally come apart at the seams. I'll never get another pair of Rocky Boots. I take back all the good things I initially said because now I'm in the market for a new pair of boots.Initial Review: Very comfortable. I first bought a size larger than my everyday shoes but they were too big even with two pairs of socks. Sent them back no problem and got 11's. They are very warm in Northern MI winter. The side zippers are great. A big help because I tuck my pants in the boots when I hunt. Got these for 99.00. great price compared to others.

A little heavy but very comfortable and definitely warm. The side zipper is great also.

This is the first pair of high calf boots I bought. It's hard for me to usually get into them but with the side zip it allows enough room to get my foot in. Easy to walk in and nice and warm. Thank u for the quick delivery also.

Good boots, keep me warm so far. Only used in cool weather, 20 degree was the coolest I wore them in so far. They do run small. Order at least 1 or 2 sizes larger.

Love the side zipper. I have limited mobility on both ankles and these are the best I've seen for mobility with bad ankles or feet. The expanding top section is a huge bonus too.

Comfy, solid insulated waterproof boot

I bought these for winter use but ended up using them in much warmer weather. I injured my leg and found these very easy to put on and take off over anything else I own. In and around my yard ... not even in mud, rock or water. Basically, an outdoor slipper while I heal. They're coming apart at the seams. I didn't realize where ROCKY boots are made at the time of purchase. I found them very comfortable but very poor construction.
