HighlanderBase Self Inflating Mat – Blue

The mat itself does not seem to be poor quality. It doesn't self inflate as well as some of the more expensive ones I have seen. But a few extra blows and it's ready to go.The one thing that gets this mat its rating. And it is partly my fault for not reading the sizes. Is that it's tiny. I am 6ft and if my head is resting at the top of the mat it only goes as far as the back of my knees.So at least a third of my bag and bivy bag will be on the ground and have no insulation from the ground.

Used on a camp bed, much better than than a normal airbed.

I allready have the older version of this product and it was bought as a large which is just right but its a few years old and i saw somewhere that size wise i would be better off with the extra large which i did and its huge way to big and heavy to carry in my rucksack so it will be kept for the future it is very well made but a hefty beast i kidd you not so if youre around six foot like me go for the large and you should be ok
