Great Value
I have used many pairs of high quality headphones over the last few years, including PortaPros, Grado SR60s, Klipsch Custom-3s, and a few others. Now that my Klipsch phones have bit the dust I needed a new pair of portable headphones. This brings me to the Visang R03s. I wanted great value this time, knowing that I probably shouldn't get another pair of $150 or more headhphones since I tear through them so quickly. But I also knew that I didn't want to sacrifice the sound quality that my ears had gotten so used to. After perusing the forums at head-fi, I found that these phones had gotten some of the best reviews in the sub-$100 category and figured I would pull the trigger. I'm glad I did.Pros:Great sound quality"Fun" sound signature - maybe not as clear and accurate at the high end as some of my "better" headphones but they have a good punch and upbeat feelInexpensiveGood quality cable - won't fray like braided cables, the downfall of my Klipsch phonesGood looking - modern and clean look, not ostentatious like Beats or pretentious like most anything Apple makesCons:Isolation is only OK - if you're upgrading from stock Apple earbuds these will be worlds better, but compared to more expensive headphones these don't block a ton of outside noise, mostly due to their relatively shallow penetration in the ear. If you ride in subways or airplanes a lot I might look elsewhere (Etymotics do very well in this department), although I have yet to try the foam tips on these phones and I am certain that would significantly reduce noise penetration.Overall, you probably can't get a better pair of in ear headphones for the money. Now, if you don't need the sound isolation or portability of in ear headphones such as the R03, I might recommend you check out the Grados or PortaPros I mentioned earlier. Either way, do yourself a huge favor and avoid the massively overpriced BOSE and Beats products.

Good stuff
I had a pair of Shure Ear buds before. They cost in the $100 range, sound was good and they were durable as heck. (Weight factor did kind of suck.) These headphones are lighter (ie earbuds won't fall out of my ear unless I wrap the cord around my shoulders)and the sound quality is comparable. Cords are thinner though, but still more durably built than most other earbuds I've seen. Speaking of the rubber tips...somewhat lacking, somewhat softer than I like and sizes that didn't quite fit my large ear canals. They still work...just not quite as good as I'd like them to.But in recap the sound is REALLY good. And I would recommend these headphones if you don't want to be spending a ridiculous amount of money.

Great earbuds.
I was a little hesitant to pay this much for a pair of earbuds, considering I was so used to buying/using skullcandys. How much better could a more expensive pair actually be? I put off buying these for awhile because I didn't think it would be worth it, and thought I wouldn't hear much of a difference. But boy was I wrong. These earbuds are FANTASTIC. I'm no audophile so I can't give a super technical review, but these really are worlds better than my skullcandys. I especially noticed the difference when after using these for awhile, I switched to my skullcandys just to see the difference. The Visangs are much clearer, the base sounds better, they're just overall fantastic and definitely worth the money I paid for them. I've had these for about 6 months and they're still working great.

Wish I had bought the Brainwavz M2
I decided to buy this instead of the Brainwavz M2 rebranded version for the straight 3.5mm jack and foam tips, but would rather have the warranty. I didn't know that Visang had changed theirs to a 45 degree 3.5mm jack too, and didn't find the foam tips to be worth it either. Apparently Brainwavz M2's do now come with comply foam tips which would be better than these knock off foam tips. I don't like using my ATH-M50's on the go, so these fit the bill for portability. The hard shell case is very nice, small, and easily fits into almost any pocket. I have a friend who said the Brainwavz M2's(he purchased around the same time) come with a different larger, it seemed(internet friend) case. Personally I think the small one with the netting really helps to keep the cord in place and probably just makes things easier overall. The included shirt clip is a MUST to prevent microphonics(noise that is transferred through the cable bouncing around or rubbing on something). As for sound, these are pretty amazing for the price. They are dark IEM's but not so much so that they leave no room for the mids and highs(can vary depending on source and music choice). If you're debating on these, they are a great choice for the money. I had only one situation playing a song on youtube with my Motorola Xoom that made these IEM's sound very excessively dark, but through most of my experience, even in preferring a fun(U shaped sound signature) and still somewhat flat sound signature, I have still found these to be very tolerable. I feel that even though they are dark, it's quality over quantity...in the sense that they aren't a "ghetto blaster"(car with stupid loud subwoofer that overpowers everything). Before making your decision I'd still suggest checking out |joker|'s IEM review thread on head-fi first to do a little research. It's always good to research before you buy and even go beyond just reviews...or well reviews just on the site selling the product.

Quality far exceeds price and expectations
I was really surprised by the quality of these headphones. The performed better than some of my over the ear phones costing twice as much, and are the best ear buds I have used within double the price range.I was initially a bit weary of the lack of brand name, and potential QC issues, once I listened to them, i was put at ease. The audio quality is exceptional, they are not particularly bassy, but extremely clean and rich sounding. If you are looking for a pair of ear buds in the $100 range, you may want to opt for these.
