Accurate tuner, easy to use, RECHARGEABLE!!
This tuner is spot on! The swivel lets you tailor the position to where YOU want it. I like mine on the back side of the neck so it doesn't stand out while performing. The color change from red to green makes it a breeze to tune quickly. Folks, it's RECHARGEABLE!! Plug it into your USB port and...No more hunting for itty bitty watch batteries! The charge lasts for a pretty long time. I practice every day and perform weekly. It was a month before it died on me (gotta learn to keep a closer eye on the charge indicator). Some people might complain about how the swivel is flimsy but if know how to take care of your equipment that should be a problem. Ya just gotta remember to pull it off the headstock before putting your guitar away. This purchase was well worth it!! I'd order another one in a heartbeat if something happened to my current one.

Didn't Work, Turns On, Doesn't Pick Up Strings
Many years ago I owned the $50 Intellitouch Pro and it worked great. However, when I moved, certain things didn't come with me for some reason. I had bought this for my nephew a few years back when he started playing guitar and it worked well for him, thus I bought one for myself. Doesn't work. The battery is charged, but I get a red screen and nothing happens. I can feel the chord vibrating through the tuner, but it just stays a blank, red screen and picks up nothing. Yes, there is little battery icon and A=440. It even flashed green when I turned it on. I tried the reset button to no avail. After two minutes it turns itself off. Highly disappointed as it's the same guitar I used before with the old Intellitouch Pro. In a pinch I downloaded a free app onto my Droid and it tuned it perfectly. This goes back. Intellitouch used to be top of the line.

Intellitouch PT40 rechargeable tuner
The unit is being used on an electric bass. I have not tried on an any guitars as of yet. The Good: The major advantage is that I can tune between songs if necessary. The off/on switch helps conserve battery life. I have used the unit for about a month and so far have not had to recharge it. This includes two weekly band practices and a couple of gigs. The color change from red to green when you are in tune is really easy to see in the often poorly lit bars we play. The Not so Good: At least for bass, it does not work as well as expected on an open low E. I find that a harmonic tone works more quickly. Additionally, the unit does appear to search for the actual note played in general more than I would have expected. This makes tuning slower than expected. Conclusion: I have a 25 year old Korg Chromatic tuner and the old beast is still a lot quicker to use than the Intellitouch PT40. I will continue to use the old Korg as my main tuner for setting intonation and when being tethered to a tuner is not an issue. However, the head stock tuner is quite useful for on stage applications. I will continue to use it on stage at least for now. As to any durability issues, I have not had the unit long enough to tell. I have now had the unit for several months. I did forget to pay attention to the battery life indicator and it did run down during a gig. This is my fault and not an issue with the tuner. The low "E" issue is a bit annoying but I use this tuner exclusively for gigs (and live full band practices) anyway since it is really convenient. As stated earlier, however this unit is not particularly useful for setting intonation. I might buy another one when this one inevitably breaks (made in China stuff usually has a shorter life span than things used to when they were made in either the US or Japan). I would however look around to see what is out there before I do.

Intellitouch PT40
Wanted to try a rechargeable tuner since I dislike keeping up with batteries. Turned it on when I got it and it was fully charged. Used it about 12 times already and going strong. A bit sensitive when tuning but I like that. I like I'm able to drop my tuning with ease. I like the display very large and easy to read. I like the color display to show when you get it correct. Overall very happy with my purchase. Shipped quickly.

Great Tuner, Great Price, Great Size
When I travel for work I take my Yamaha THR10C amp and often leave the pedals at home. Without the pedal board tuner I find this more accurate than the built-in tuner in the amp. ...it is tiny and absolutely perfect. I've had it for about a year now and today the battery died. When I say died, I mean, it hasn't needed to be recharged for a year!!! This is probably one of the best little gadgets I have ever bought and fits right into a pocket in the Yamaha amp bag. Highly recommend!!!

The tuning aspect of this tuner worked fine but the casing is very poorly built
The tuning aspect of this tuner worked fine but the casing is very poorly built. I haven't had it very long and the button on the top rarely works because it gets stuck in the casing. It may be more accurate than a Snark but it sure didn't last very long. Not recommended at all.

The Best!
The best little tuner you can buy. Besides the convenience of clipping onto your instrument, it has the red and green lit screen so that you can easily tune in low light situations. To top it off, it recharges in your phone recharging port so you never have to worry about dead batteries again.
