I love this pill container/dispenser
Update 7/2019: A year Nd a half after purchasing this pill holder, I’m still using it daily. Some of the numbers and AM/PMs have started to wear off. I used a Sharpie to fix them and then out clear nail polish over all the print. It’s holding up well. Sometimes the lids pop open, especially when I’m traveling and they are loose. Putting the whole unit in a gallon-sized ziplock bag helps. I would purchase this item again and still highly recommend it.**Initial review **I was diagnosed with severe coronary artery disease four months ago and went from taking Tylenol and a multivitamin to a boatload of daily meds. Fortunately everything I take is prescribed once or twice every day, not three times or more a day, so I went on a search for a med organizer with an AM/PM. I was putting my pills in little baggies but would forget if I took a dose when out of my regular routine. I decided on this pill organizer because it had a whole month’s worth of containers and I like to dispense my meds for as long of a period as possible since I’m a bit on the busy side and travel often. I’ve attached a couple photos so you can see about how many pills it holds. I take one giant horse pill that really fills up the box, so I moved it from night time to morning when I take fewer (and smaller) pills. Now I can get the lids on easily. When I was experimenting with finding an easy way to open them, I discovered the lids slide out. (See photos.) Taking the lids off made these super easy to fill, although I have to pay attention to put the morning meds in the same half of the containers and to put the lids on accurately. The dates on the container help me keep track as I put the morning pills in the side with the date preprinted on it. The lids sliding off made this pill container genius and I am thoroughly delighted with my purchase. I can take the pills with me easily and keep track of whether or not I’ve taken my doses. I’ll be going on a trip with them over the next two weeks and will know better about how secure the lids are during transport. They seem secure so far. I’ll update by Jan 2018 if they prove otherwise. On the whole, this organizer has been a great help to me and well worth the money. All my dates were printed properly unlike other reviewers and the extra one is nice to keep a dose in my purse just in case I forget to take it at home. The colors are cheerful and, for now, the container size is perfect.

Strongly recommend. Read pros and cons
The idea of this product is so smart! There is nothing else I've found like it.Things I LOVE:1. The fact I can put all 30 days in at once. Most pill organizers are only for up to 2 weeks. I love putting them all in and not having to do it again in 7 to 14 days.2. I really love that I can take an entire day at a time out and send with my kiddo when she sleeps at a friends instead of having to send her entire pill oranizer ehich can be bulky and quite frankly itimidating if the friends parents had to see all her meds for a week or 2 at a time. Not to mention if one day gets lost its a lot easier to rectify then an entire week or two.3. Colors are great!4. Design and quality are nice. The not so good;1. The compartments are pretty small. I do have to arrange the 4 or 5 pills in order for them to fit.2. The individual compartments are pretty hard to open. I struggle at times to open them and a lot of the time I cant even open the pm slot so I have to take it all apart.3. There are no replacements in case a day gets lost.Overall I do really like this product and i am using it even with the couoke of flaws.Nothing is perfect and it still works and the benefits outweight the issues.

It takes time...but only once a month!
At first I found this product difficult to use and I was concerned about getting the pouches filled correctly. But I’ve found a way to use this system with confidence. First I stage my meds, morning pills in the front row, night pills in the 2nd row and pills I take both day and night in the 3rd row.Next I take out all the pill pouches out and line them up in numerical order. I begin laying out the first morning pills, each in front of a pouch until all first morning pills are laid out. Then begin the 2nd pills, laying them in front of the first ones until they are all laid out Continue until all the morning pills are laid out. Check to see that you have all morning pills laid out. Begin the night pills the same as the morning pills except they need to be placed in back of each pouch ( so you are sure to get them in the correct pouch). Finally the pills taken both morning and night. Place the morning ones in the front of each pouch and the night ones behind each pouch. When you’ve checked that they are correctly placed put them in the pouch. Because I fill the pouches this way (and ask my husband to check that they’re properly placed) I feel confident that I am taking them correctly.Opening the pouches... hold it as shown in the photo and pull back.

Great Memory Tweaker!
Though I really like this pill organizer, I wish the compartments were just a tiny bit larger. I take quite a few vitamin pills, which tend to be fatter than prescription drugs. My pills fill the compartments very tightly. Even so, the lids stay closed -- a definite plus! I at first had difficulty opening the lids, until I discovered the secret: Work from the very end of the lid, pushing IN first, THEN up. Laying out the next day's compartment after taking my nightly pills helps me to remember to take my morning dose. It also reminds me of the date -- something that isn't at the forefront of my mind anymore now that I'm retired. The only time I HATE this container is when I have to fill it up. However, even though I have to cram 14 different pills into the daily cases, that has to be done only once a month -- which makes the chore tolerable. I especially like the fact that doing it this way gives me plenty of notice when I'm running low on meds, allowing me time to arrange for refills or pick up new bottles of vitamins.

Very nice, and great savings compared to others I have seen here
Really nice, so colourful and is making my life SO much easier to keep up with taking my meds. Had plenty of room in each sections, which I was afraid at first it wouldn't and I take several medications. But there was plenty of room, plus I like that I can just grab one day at a time and take it with me if I need to. Only reason not 5 stars is sometimes a few of the lids get sticks sometimes and don't pop open as easy as others. But maybe I am just not pulling from the right spot. So I would still totally recommend this. Great price compare to the other one month organisers I saw on here. Added a photo with a 50p pieces to help show the nice size of the compartments, and you can see I have some big horse pills in there and still all fits lol.

I find it very useful and enjoy using it
I wondered whether this was a good idea or not, but experience has found that it has several benefits. Yes, one has the job of 'loading' all the pots once a month, but this is just one job easily done sitting at a table. My first organiser had lids that were very difficult to open; I think it must have got pressed on in transit. However, I told the seller I needed to return it and they said don't bother and sent me a new one which works much better. It has to be said that the lids of the boxes can be awkward to open sometimes and I just use my paper knife, but I have found that I have just got used to it and having something handy to pry one open if needed. It must be a hard compromise for the maker to produce a container like this having a lid that shuts securely and yet opens easily and at a cheap price. Anyway what has most please me in practice has been that I now do not have to count out tablets every day. I have found other distinct advantage to using the organiser the first being that I can tell whether I have taken my tablets or not. The other is that it tells me the date every day which at my age is a good thing. The way I use the organiser is that when the 'day' is finished I then turn the pot upside down to re-insert it so that the date does not show. I also love the last pot which is a 'smiley face' where I keep an unused reserve just in case. So, yes, I find it very useful and enjoy using it.

Not if you want to keep pills in blister wraps :-(
A super idea - After taking over twenty-five thousand five hundred and fifty (25,550) morning and evening doses over the past 35 years (chronic condition from my teens), it's so easy to get into a "I don't remember taking today's dose - did I take it, or was that yesterday?" mode because it's become automatic. This monthly dispenser seemed like a godsend because I could easily keep tabs (sorry!) on what had been taken or not.But Alas, if I wish to keep the pills in their blister wrapping, cut that up and pop them in these pill boxes - there just isn't enough room. Two large pills still wrapped and that's all the room there is. I am back to drawing lines on the blister wraps and dating every segment with a felt tip pen. Some pills shouldn't be left open to the air (certainly not for a month) which is why the pharma-firms seal them up.Apart from that, it's really good, and I was going to use the spare day holder as a reminder to get my prescription renewed, by putting it into the 'calendar' at the approriate place. The dispenser is compact and occupies far less room than any other system, or tons of bottles, or holders containing pill sheets. If your pills come in bottles, you're in luck and I wholeheartedly recommend it. If they're in sheets like mine - sorry, the hunt goes on...Manufacturers please note - a double size version of this, even if it's more than double the price, would solve my (and I suspect a number of other people's) problems.

Not yet sure!
Bought these for the hubbys pills, to replace 2 seperate 28 section boxes (morn, noon, eve, bed), that we'd used for several years, but were beginning to crack.Arrived very quickly, and unlike some of the other reviews, it was undamaged, and well packaged.I like that a months worth of pills can be sorted into a.m. & p.m. sections of one pod, and stored together. Not too sure why there are 32 individual pods, as prescription medicines are usually done on a 28 day cycle, and the colours would be better if there were 4 sets of 7 (or 8) colours, rather than 8 sets of 4, i.e. 1 colour per week (7 days). As for the individual pods, the flip tops are the same as other flip top pill holders, (no better no worse), they are a bit fiddly to open, so someone with dexterity problems may struggle to open them, but seem to click shut securely, though you do need space to lay them out to fill,I have filled the pods and put them in the stand in order starting with whichever date they were filled on e.g. 21st, 22nd, 23rd, 24th, etc, leaving the last 3 numbers and the spare one in the last column ready for next months fill. The intention is to turn each pod upside down when the night pills have been taken, so that hubby can keep a track of the ones he has taken; I'll have to wait to see if that actually happens!Still not sure this pill sorter will work as well as 2 seperate boxes for us, only time will tell, but the price was very reasonable, and less expensive than two 28 section boxes!
