It is comically too small. A bread bag twist can fit better than it. If I could I would give it zero stars. I should have just spent the money on the harness.

I am currently using for the first time and so far loving it. I used to put Olympic plates on the lid whenever I had a big fermentation going so this is much nicer. They latch snuggly so there’s no play. Would give 5 star but they are plastic, other than that I would recommend and buy again 👍

So I’m a huge fan of the big mouth bubbler and Northern Brewer the company as a whole, it’s where i purchase most of my home brew supplies and equipment. When I needed to upgrade my fermenter to something that was easier to clean and acted as a bottler, I looked to the big mouth bubbler. The BMB is a nearly perfect design, except for the lid, it tends to pop up during the most active of fermentation, which takes away pressure and potentially let’s in bad things that will ruin your beer.This BMB lid lock is the perfect solution to making sure pressure won’t pop off your lid and you get the best possible fermentation considering all your other variables are in the right place. Before this lid lock I would put physical 5 lb weights on my BMB lid to stop it from popping off or I would tape it, this makes the process so much easier and I don’t have to worry about the lid anymore.I wish Northern Brewer would partner with this company and offer this product or a product like this on their website, it’s a must own if you own a BMB.

Yeah this is a semi cheap 3D printed parts designed for a smaller top. I mean it would be sort of effective if it worked, but not a fan of the assembly and it feels like the attachments would snap too easy. Planning on returning it.

This is a great idea. It worked very well, kept the BMB lid from raising up. My only problem was when I had to remove the lid one of the clips broke above the ring. I will order another one again hoping for better luck.

My big mouth bubbler top wouldn't stay tight. This product resolved the problem expertly and the seller is a pleasure to work with. Be careful though. This item is for the 5 gallon big mouth bubbler. At this time the 6.5 gallon lid holder is a special order. Upon this realization the seller promptly replaced the item along with another unit that was still in the mail! Awesome service!
