Force, Motion & Simple Machines Big Book Gr. 5-8 - Classroom Complete Press (Force & Motion Series)

I discovered this book at a conference I think. I was teaching matter and energy at the time to 8th graders and our textbook was so beyond their reading comprehension. The book breaks each section down into a small manageable chunk which includes a brief, content rich reading section and a variety of questions to answer when done. With this book and a good lab supplement like marble roller coasters and a few others, it makes for a really good starting point for any new teacher to physical sciences. All of the books by this company are actually really well done.

Great reproducibles for teaching

This book is great but I would only use it to supplement with another curriculum. I like the lay out and the comprehension quizzes.

This book is highly engaging and is really a unit plan in a book. It made planning for this unit a breeze and allowed me to Differentiate Instruction.
