Mighty markers!!!
These window, glass markers are great and work perfectly. I have no idea what some of these knuckle heads are complaining about. These markers are not meant for chalkboards. Hence the reason it states in the description they are meant for glass and mirror. Obviously some people don't read thoroughly enough before they make online purchases. Enough of my rant....I purchased these liquid chalk markers with my 14 year old son in mind. Which sometimes he forgets his chores, homework, and stuff like showering and bruising his teeth. Before you judge me for that statement I must tell you my son is a very high functioning but on the autism disorder spectrum and things that come to most of us naturally like showering, brushing, etc my son needs a little help. Reminders I suppose. Do i bought these liquid chalk markers to help. Now I leave him notes on his bathroom mirror to help him remember to do these things. It's actually made a huge difference, and he is proud of himself for getting all of these things completed.Since it worked so well for my son I decided to take them to work and put them to good use there. I started leaving notes of encouragement, positivity and kindness for my co-workers and son after things started changing. Instead of my co-workers being grumpy and snippy they were now laughing, helping and even complimenting each other. I can't express to you what an impact this has made on the group of ladies and gentleman that I work with, as well as ribs being a little less stressful at home. These can be used for any occasion, super easy to clean up. Just take a wet paper towel and begin wiping it off. The mess is gone in seconds. These liquid chalk markers glide smoothly over the surface, creating solid lines and shapes. With such vibrant colors it makes it easy to artistically express your thoughts and feelings. With a variety of such beautiful colors you are able to quickly and easily add a piece of your own pizzazz and personality to every project you work on.

Beautiful bright colors
This is a fun product to use. I love the chalkboard idea. I'm glad that it's made a comeback. It just reminds me of old time days and one-room school houses. I have a chalkboard in my home and I use it to put the weekly menu or love notes for my family like "Happy Birthday" or "Happy Father's Day" . I recently used these markers for a garden class for my child's third grade class. It was fun to use the markers to create a sign for the kids. We created a sustainable art project out of recycled material to decorate the garden. The wind chimes are hanging in our school garden for all to enjoy. I was please with the bright colors in this pack and have continued to use it for other projects. Be careful to make sure you put the tip on correctly when you are done because if you don't they can easily dry out. My four year old was using them and did not put the top on correctly and the liquid chalk seeped out a bit. Have fun!

Very Bright
I haven't made my final assessment yet but so far I like how they turned out. I made a test butterfly, and it was still there after being rained on, but it wasn't impervious to being smudged with a finger while wet. A little more water and it wiped right off with a dishrag.Follow the directions. They shook up quickly, but don't be fooled just because you see pigment creeping into the tip (seen here with the red marker). Don't pump it; just press and hold until the tip is fully saturated; it doesn't take long, but time is relative. HOWEVER: during your project, although you may need to re-saturate the tip several times (especially if writing on a vertical surface like I was) resist the urge to do so until you actually try to write and nothing comes out, otherwise you will get a giant glorp of pigment on your surface. If you don't get good coverage somewhere, don't waste your time trying to go over it again. Just wipe it off and start over.I don't know how well they hold up to smudging when they haven't been rained on but I guess I'll find out.EDIT, about a year later: I didn't wash them off for about six months and they held up to weather quite well as long as they weren't touched. I did brush up against the pink lettering and it came off onto my shirt (but it did wash out). The bad news is the green, yellow, and orange only seemed to have enough for one application. I went out to put the letters on again and couldn't get any of those three colors to come out more than a trickle.

Brightly colored, affordable, and do the job!
I revieved a responsibility chart awhile back and it came without any markers. I had seen that chalk markers were recommended for black board products on another review. I was a bit skeptical but decided to research and price out an assortment of different chalk makers. I found these ones and I chose them mostly because you recieved the most for your money. They were decently priced and had prime shipping. They havare turned out to be a great product! Apart from just the responsibility chart you can write on glass and various other surfaces! The chalk easily washed off with water! Also they easily was off from hands! Great, affordable option!!

Works very well to decorate car windows
We recently were in a car parade and didn't want to hang signs in case of damage to our paint job so these chalk markers came in handy and were just perfect for the job. I decorated the windows with several colors but the white against tinted windows looks the best with other colors as accents. The only problem I had with dripping was with the blue one which also was a lot lighter than I thought it would be. More like light powder blue. I would have preferred a regular primary blue color just like the red, yellow, purple etc. I recommend you have a paper towel ready just in case you get drips you can stop them, wipe off and try again. The tips will be dry when you first take them out of the box. To activate, shake well then repeatedly press down on a paper or paper towel until you can see the color soaking the tip. Practice a little to see how much pressure to use. I used the blue after I had used other colors and it required much less pressure. I used a dry paper towel to get it off after about 4 hours. I can't speak for using it in the rain but assume it would start to run off. I recommend these chalk markers for window decorating but haven't tried them on any other surfaces.
