Attention Buyers: About 90% of the returns are because of purchasing the wrong sized crates. To avoid having to return the crate, please measure the spaces (especially the space in your vehicle) where you will place the crate before you place an order. Please also make sure that the spaces are big enough for the 30" crate (30" Long x 21" Wide x 24" High), which is 2" wider and 4" higher than most other brand 30" soft crates. However, after the crate is folded away and put into the included carrying bag, the package size is only 30" long x 21" wide x 3" high, so it is very easy for storage, transport, and travel. Before you place an order, please also measure your dog and make sure that the crate is not too big or too small for him/her. Smells like Vinyl and VOCs/ scamming their ratings
Update!I have been contacted more then 3 times to remove my comment for a 50% refund. This is how they got their good reviews. I am making a return for 100% refund now. It has been a week since I got a cage and it still smells like vinyl. Overall disappointing.Previous comment:I’m in between one and 2 stars!! I love the idea but hate the smell. Cheap materials that are screaming poison. I resently had a baby and learned about all harmful materials, this cage screams I’m full of vinyl, VOCs and other harmful stuff. Dogs smell way better then us, I just can imagine how my puppy would feel if I left her there. I should admit that it is a very clever idea, design itself is great. I would advise to use better materials.

A good quality wire-crate is usually best for that
We have an Akita Rescue and have purchased and used many different types of crates. Not one crate is a one-size-fits all and despite negative reviews wehre people have said their dog destroyed the soft crate, that is not the crate's fault - it is an education issue in that a soft crate should not be used to crate train a dog in. A good quality wire-crate is usually best for that. We have used the soft crates before to give a crate trained dog a time-out or for traveling, such as if we want to contain a dog in a hotel room. The other brand of soft crate we have is the NozToNoz "Sof-Krate". The cost of the N2N as compared to this one is about the same, when comparing the same size, but there is a substantial difference of quality. The NozToNoz also has 3 doors - a large side door, an end door, and a top "moon roof" door. We liked that the N2N had one semii-canvas panel on the one of the long sides. The weight is about the same but the N2N felt just a wee bit lighter weight. The sturdiness as compared side by side is no comparison. The frame on the N2N is way firmer, and the canvas cover on the N2N stretches tightly across the frame. While some people may like the attached pouches, that was not something that was important to us, but we did find, that the Elite Field has WAY too many straps and things hanging. Why would you have a carrying strap on a crate that is designed to hold a dog up to 90lbs? Also, the N2N had a thick rubbery bottom which had a hard/yet spongy/non-slip nubby texture to it, rather than the thin black rubber bottom on the Elite. Also, the black rubber bottom on the N2N went all the way around, like wainscoating, and we appreciated that feature. Returned this item. Dollar for Dollar, same size compared, in our professional opinion, we think the N2N is a better value. Also, we did not appreciate the fact that the item we received appeared to have been used, and the large cardboard box it arrived in, looked as if it had been opened and taped with different types of tape several times. Not sure if the seller is re-selling returned product, but we didn't feel confident we were receiving a new item for the full price we paid.

Easy to Open/Close. Very Convenient for Travel
I occasionally travel by car with my English Cocker Spaniel. His breeder recommends a hard-sided kennel for travel in the car (for safety) but suggested also getting a soft-sided, collapsible crate to take into hotel rooms, etc. It's MUCH easier than lugging the awkward hard-sided crate through the hotel.Initially I purchased the 30" EliteField crate, but it was too large for my 25 lb. dog. I exchanged it for the 24" version and it's the perfect size. The crate is a very manageable weight, even for an old fogie like me. And it comes with a zippered case with a detachable carry strap. The crate unfolds very simply and quickly, and the mechanism for locking the frame in place is easy to use. I'd previously purchased a different model from another company and it was incredibly difficult to lock the frame open, and even more difficult to UNLOCK it and collapse it back down. The EliteField crate is much, much easier to use.The canvas sides are sturdy and look like they'll stand up to a lot of use. Corners are reinforced with another layer of canvas. There's a zippered pocket built into the top of the crate. A nice place to stash poopy bags, a leash, etc. And it doesn't interfere with the crate when it's folded up and put into the carry bag. There's a second zippered, canvas accessories bag attached by snaps to the back side, if you need additional storage. The included dog bed is an added bonus, and it's nice that the crate can be easily folded with the bed inside.I also like that all four sides of the crate are mesh so my dog can see out from any directions. (If your dog digs at the sides of the crate, I would not recommend a soft-sided crate like this. The mesh windows could be shredded easily.) The two larger mesh sides can be unzipped and used as an entrance, although only one of those entrances has a velcro strap to keep the door open. The canvas top also zips open so you can put the dog into the crate from top down if you prefer that.I am very pleased with the EliteField crate. I've attached a photo of my English Cocker sitting next to the crate. He weighs 25 lbs and is 22" tall from floor to the top of his head. I think the 24" crate would be the perfect size for most cockers, beagles, dachshunds, and similarly sized dogs. I have a second English Cocker Spaniel who is much closer in size to a Springer Spaniel. He doesn't travel with me, but if he did, he would definitely need the larger 30" crate.

It collapses and sets up easy and comes with a protective travel carrier
So far I am a fan of this crate. It is so lightweight compared to the full metal crate! It collapses and sets up easy and comes with a protective travel carrier. It's perfect for when we travel. The mesh is thicker than I was expecting, which is a definite plus. Of course, with any "soft crate" you need to know what type of dog you have. If you have a puppy/dog who chews or a dog that claws when confined, a soft crate probably isn't the best pick for you period. The storage compartments are also a little bonus. I prefer to use the large opening for my dog, but I like that it also has one on top and on the more narrow side. Here is a photos of my 52lb dog in the 36"Lx24"Wx28"H crate. As you can see it is rather spacious, especially since he tends to curl up on one side. Personally I wouldn't go any smaller for him because I want him to be able to stretch out or stand without the top being open....but I easily could have gotten the next size down and just kept the top open. Hope this helps someone else who's looking into soft crates. :)

Excellent crate
I’ve ordered this crate twice, the first one in January which never arrived and I received a full refund. I was searching for an alternative crate in the UK for my miniature poodle but because she’s quite tall but although not massive I struggled to find one so eventually I ordered this one again. This time it arrived very quickly (dispatched on Friday evening from the US, arrived on Monday morning to me in the UK!), the crate is an excellent quality, seems very sturdy and stylish as well. 24inch first nicely on the back seat of my car. Very pleased with my purchase!

My dog loves it
I am very happy with this crate. My dog felt comfortable and secure enough that he didn’t try to escape. I used it for a weekend dog show and plan on using it often. I may need to purchase another for my other pup!
