Works great with Galaxy S21
Works as expected and even more. I sort of wish I had held off and purchased one that came with a charging port so that I could charge and plug in a microphone at the same time. Although I didn't really use these with a headset, it worked perfectly fine with a TRRS splitter where I could plug in a mic and the video recorded with the audio input from that. I also was able to plug in headphone with the splitter and play it back with no issues.I took it a step further and tried plugging in a USB-C hub and plugged this adapter in one of the usb-c ports of the hub and was able to charge my phone and use the port for audio so that was a really nice surprise. Granted, I don't know enough about the technical aspects of USB C to say that this is or isnt necessarily a feature of the product but I figure it might be helpful to know for anyone wondering. Used with my Galaxy S21 5GEdit: I added a photo for reference to a question being answered about what the hole is for. Either my memory has fooled me or at one time or another you could upload photos as part of an answer to a question but now it appears to be limited to a video upload only. Thus, I've added the photo here to help explain the answer provided which explained that the the hole is useful for attaching it to a wrist lanyard or phone charm strap.

Best adapter I’ve used
I often use wired headphones when talking on the phone, with the phone in my pocket. The Apple branded version of this adapter has a flimsy cable that breaks over time. This adapter is more solid and doesn’t fray, and the audio quality is just as good. My only issue is that the sleeve covering the electrical connector came off after a short time, but a dab of superglue was sufficient to fix the problem.

It works, but there are better options.
I have been using my stock Google USB C dongle dac for a while with my DT 700 headphones, but the dongle is starting to show signs of wear - thought I'd give this a try. This item was a significant to step down.I suppose moou adapter works - controls for play/pause, vol +/-, etc work fine. I never tested the in-cord mic for functionality. The amp in unit has some extra power to it, so if you are trying to drive higher impedance IEMs that might be a plus. While doing A/B comparison with my stock dongle I had to turn the volume down when switching to the muuo and back up with the stock unit.Ultimately there are two reasons why I won't be using this again and would not recommend someone else purchasing. 1) The sound quality is bad. Separation and soundstage are gone, and the only thing left is flat loudness. Really disappointing. 2) While the adapter is sturdy, I can't help but feel that the design is a phone breaker. Once you plug a 3.5mm in, this item turns into a 3-in lever to twist your USB-C out of your phone. I bought the unit thinking I would like how small of a form factor it was, but in hand, it feels a lot bigger than you'd think.Do yourself a favor and spend a couple extra bucks to just buy a stock iphone or Google USB C dongle.

Works great.
For a few bucks, you can use any ear buds or head phones with your iPhone.

Strong teeth. Sudden failure after 10mos very light use
Well built. Compact and convenient and will last by my experience so far. The most important element is that the ‘teeth’ are firmly seated into the plastic housing and not apt to separate as other models can.2024 update - still working perfectly. This is the cats meow alright.Update: failed just short of 10months light use. Longer than others I have had. Thanks to Apple etc for removing a simple TRS (stereo) Jack from phones.

sturdy
My granddaughter lost the one I got from Apple, and the replacement was a small wired one, annoying to keep in my pocketbook and then the tip broke off and I almost couldn't get it out of my phone jack. This one is easy to pack, sturdy and works.
