cute, easy read
This was such a cute book! It was a little cheesy at times and a little cringy in some scenes but it made the book what it was. Under 300 pages and it was such a fast and easy/lighthearted read. I was so skeptical with having so many different authors write this but it was so good and flowed perfectly from once chapter to the next. This was fun, fast and a little spice. Definitely a book I recommend!

I Fell In Love With A Felon... And You Will Too
Felony Ever After isn’t just a masterpiece of romantic comedy, it’s an EPIC collaboration – there’s no other way to describe such a seamless, perfectly crafted novel, created sequentially by thirteen separate authors. Having read books by several of them, I could detect traits of their personalities and writing styles as I read their respective chapters; but the differences were so perfectly subtle, they gave each chapter a unique feel without interrupting the flow of the story. Each chapter and each contributor built on – and blended seamlessly with – the previous one. Each plot point carries forward effortlessly, from the story’s crazy beginning to its perfectly satisfying end. I’m simply impressed beyond words.Honestly, I’m not surprised, because with Deb Anastasia and Helena Hunting behind this quirky and ambitious project, there’s literally no way it could be anything less than stellar. We’re talking about several well-known, best-selling authors, and a few truly talented debut authors as well. The story is tender and sweet in the right places; crazy-outrageous when you least expect it; a tiny bit angsty when it’s appropriate; hilariously funny at every turn (I could write an entire review on the humor alone); and off-the-charts hot just when you need it the most. You can literally feel the fun the authors had passing along the chapters and setting each other up for the next turn in the story. What wicked fun it must have been. Honestly, I would give up a minor appendage to have witnessed their writing and editing process – and a vital organ for the privilege of a being part of a writing team with such incredible talent. And now, about the story …Verity Michaels and Hudson Fenn are officially one of my all-time favorite romantic couples in the comedy genre. Verity is the safe, rational one; Fenn is the spontaneous, reckless one; together, they are a couple you’ll remember long after you finish their story (especially if you follow their accounts on Twitter).Verity is small-town Florida ‘transplant’ working as a receptionist for an export company in downtown Manhattan. She has a tedious job and a misogynistic creeper for a boss. She’s all but given up her dream of being a professional photographer, after failing in a start-up business in her home town. She moved to New York when her too-helpful father set her up with an interview with a former fraternity brother — the soon-to-be-infamous creeper/fetishist, Larold Lay, CEO. After working late one evening, she reluctantly shares a taxi with the enigmatic Hudson Fenn, aka ‘Tattoo’ – a bike courier who looks like a thug and doesn’t fit any of her notions of a potential romantic partner. She assumes he’s a bad boy from the wrong side of the tracks; assumes he lacks ambition because he’s content riding a messenger bike around town all day; and assumes he’s a felon because of his penchant for secrecy – and, well, breaking the law. One could hardly blame her for having more than a few reservations. And yet… She knows she shouldn’t want him, but she does. She quickly realizes she has an adventurous side, but is reluctant to let herself go, until Fenn gives her no choice.Fenn’s challenge? Convincing her that he’s more than he appears to be. Earning her trust, while keeping his secrets. Therein lies the internal and external conflict, the mystery, the angst, but also some of the funniest, steamiest, and most moving moments in their story. She’s powerfully drawn to him, and he to her; but how can she be expected to freely give herself to someone who can’t, or won’t, let her in? The conflict is central to the story, and beautifully developed, at just the right pace to keep you glued to your Kindle from beginning to end. It’s best that you discover his secrets – and other, even more outrageous and unpredictable aspects of this love story – for yourself. Seeing how Fenn romances Verity, and handles the challenge of winning her heart, will make you laugh, possibly cry a little, and laugh again. It’s all part of the magic. I promise that the answers will surprise and totally satisfy you – they delighted me. I also guarantee you’ll fall in love with this “smooth criminal” before that first cab ride is over, and fist-bump the nearest bystander when Verity finally finds her feet and stands up to her dirt-bag of a boss. Fenn’s spontaneity, his reckless sense of fun, his passion for life, his devotion to Verity, his tattooed bad-boy persona – not to mention his sexual prowess – make him one of the most unique and disarming heroes I’ve read in quite awhile. He brings out the best in her, she brings out the beast in him — and it’s a wild, wonderful journey to see how it all plays out.I certainly hope this isn’t the last of the Domino novels. I want more, and more, and more. Don’t wait — buy it now and read it all night if you have too. #TotallyWorthIt #PoundHudson #WhatsInTheBox.

I was thrown for a loop when I read that 13 authors participated in writing this book! How could they each, with their own ideas, write a story that blends well with what was written before them? I don’t know how they did it, but it sure made for one hell of a book!First off, the hashtags at the end of each chapter had me laughing hysterically. #TheBoxesMustDie #PoundHudson #Honeybee #HudsonWantsToPound #IDidn’tSignUpForThis #VodkaIsMyBitch #RageDrinking#NowYouWannaKnowMoreDon’tYaHudson Fenn (@tatwhiteknight) or also known as Tattoo, is a bicycle delivery man in New York City with a few of his own secrets. He looks like a thug (must be the tattoos) but has a heart of gold. He is a little on the rebellious side, sexy and but not exactly what Verity Michaels is looking for.Verity Michaels, (@VerityPics03) or Honeybee to Hudson is a photographer who had to put her love aside after a failed business brings her from Florida to New York. She is working as a receptionist for Larold Lay, a strange, strange man.Verity and Hudson meet in a cab. The hilarity ensues with the cab ride and just keeps on going from there. They end up going their separate ways (because you know, he’s a tatted up thug and all) and she thinks she will never see him again. Wrong. Of course he’s going to end up delivering secretive packages to her boss.Hudson programs his number into her phone and away we go. He shows up when she is out with her friends and lets her know just how far he takes his #Stalker abilities by tracking her on Twitter. Of course you know she talks about the fact she wants to #PoundHudson. There were some steamy sex scenes, and along with some splinters, too!I don’t even know where to begin with Mr. Larold Lay. Instantly, you knew something was just seriously wrong with this guy #EyesUpHere. Until you get to the middle of the book, you really have no idea just how creepy he is!Verity feels that Hudson is mysterious and is keeping secrets after speaking with her boss, Mr. Lay. If I were Verity, I’d be more worried about Mr. Lay than Hudson. Hudson finally reveals his “secrets” and I really didn’t think it was that bad. I had come up with way worse scenarios as to what exactly he was hiding. #SorryNotSorryI enjoyed this read immensely. There was some romance, some office hijinks, and yet hilarious with a lot of laugh out loud moments and of course those swoon-worthy moments throw in for good measure. This book was very well done by all the authors involved. I thoroughly enjoyed it and hope they do it again. I admit I have only read a few of the authors that participated in writing this book, but I will definitely be adding the rest to my TBR list!#OneClickIt #SoWorthIt

Felony Ever After @VerityPicso3 @tatwhiteknight
Escape into my Reads Book BlogThe paperback cover and the premise of the book caught my attention and I just knew I had to read Felony Ever After. This book is so different to anything else I have read before and I have to say the story and collaboration of 13 authors was so unique that I absolutely loved reading every second of this book. There were some authors whose work I had read but others I had not and that just had me hitting Goodreads/Amazon after to learn more. The story flowed effortlessly as each author took to writing a chapter in the lives of Verity Michaels and Hudson Fenn. These two characters together were hilarious, adorable, sweet, sexy, passionate and vulnerable. Verity isn’t afraid to speak her mind and not only does she have to deal with a creepy boss, but she meets sexy tattooed cab thief/bike messenger Hudson Fenn whose presence is intense as he charms his way into her life and heart. I laughed my way throughout the book and could not stop smiling and rooting for Verity and Hudson. Hudson is so sweet and romantic I loved his nickname for Verity. The tweet banters between them were amusing, flirty and fun, whilst they heated up the pages with their passion. I seriously could not get enough of Verity and Hudson so I would love to see a second book! Ladies take a bow...

Totally Bonkers. Silly Mindless Fun, Nothing More.
Felony Ever After is a totally bonkers read as you might expect considering it's a collaboration between thirteen authors. Some chapters flow more seamlessly than others, so If you're looking for a smooth, plausible, cohesive story, this isn't it. Plot lines are introduced in one chapter and then ignored and forgotten thereafter, which I found distracting, but won't spoil it for others by giving them away here. No matter, I'm sure it'll be a massive hit, thanks to the endless 'Pucked' style teasers appearing everywhere and the bloggers all jumping on the band wagon. Just treat it as a bit of silly, mindless fun and you won't be too disappointed .

A Great Read
I dived into this book... excited to see how 13 author, 1 story would read and flow... and I was totally surprised... it flowed, it gripped me and drawn me in... I was addicted to see where Verity would be taken...With each chapter ending on a mini cliffy ... I couldn't put the book down as I needed to know what was happening with Hudson, what was in the box....This story was funny, dirty, witty and a little weird but i loved it and devoured as fast as I could...Somehow... 13 authors pulled it off and produced a crazy enjoyable read...

I loved this book
I loved this book. It was funny, romantic, with a bit of mystery added in, and I mean, who doesn't want to end up with a guy like Hudson?I think this 'story' also sends out a good message, you shouldn't judge a book by its cover. Verity judges Hudson by his tattoos when we first meet, well a lot at the beginning, but she soon realises his mistake. Hudson is an incredible guy who any girl would be lucky to have.If you want a light and fun read, then I definitely recommend giving this a go. The tweets were also a nice touch. Well done ladies xx

Amazing stars
A brilliant book wrote by thirteen different authors. Some authors I'm familiar with as I've bought their books and some I have yet to meet. This book just flows from one chapter to another and fits together perfectly despite the unique writing styles of each person. The drama starts right from the first chapter and carries on throughout. Well done everyone!!I would love to see more of Hudson and Verity's story. My TBR list has just got longer after the introduction of new authors. Thank you for this crazy ride
