OriGlam Luminous Fishing Rigs with Real Fish Skin, Glow Beads & High Carbon Hooks for Fresh/Saltwater

I was curious given that I often fish with larger Sabiki rigs and after reading the reviews. Yeah the hooks are big I measured between 1 1/4 inch and 1 1/2 inch. Sort of thing you would use for big bluefish, big spanish macks, kingfish. The water temp is 87 where I live so I will have to wait until October to try it out. The swivels are better than most that I have bought from China and the main lines and branch lines look decent enough.

I bought these on a whim because they look similar to another brand that I use, which cost more. They do work. I've caught mackerel, cod and pollock but there are a few issues with these rigs. The biggest issues is that the length of the rig is way too long. I cut them in half and use three hooks which makes it more manageable(still a little long though). There is also no telling how strong the line is but so far nothing I've caught has snapped the line. One other complaint is the size of the snap that's pre-rigged. You'll have a difficult time getting anything larger than 4-5 oz weight on it. I remedied this by cutting the snap off and tying on a larger one.

I do not know the size of this hook, when I see wow!!so big hook, dare not use, if the hook to the shark will be in trouble

Works great, excellent visibility on catching all season sanddabs and flounder by just adding herring fish scent to a small piece of squid, shrimp or mackerel to the hook.

These are large rigs and work tremendously well for white perch
