Superb fixings. Very easy to use, although we did drill a small guide hole rather than screwing directly into the plaster board walls. The fixings feel very secure and provide confidence that they will hold for years. For anything of any weight, I'll always use these for future DIY projects now. Also, as mentioned in another review... these save having too find a corresponding screw size too. Overall, this is a great product!.

I used these after trying several other types of screw fixers intended for use on hollow plasterboard walls. They give a much more secure fixing than the other types. and are simple to install with just a posidrive screwdtiver.

Does the job on plasterboard walls

I'm in my 70s and have been doing DIY projects for over 50 years. These are by far the best fixers for plasterboard I've come across (remember they are for plasterboard not solid masonry walls). I'm using them to fix grab handles around the house, and they give a good solid installation which easily take my weight when I lose my balance.

Does what it says on the packet…

The anchors weren't a problem to screw into drywall and went in fine, they seem quite secure once buried into the wall. They did however make a lot of mess when being screwed into the wall, even on a slow drill setting. Granted drywall is pretty messy anyway once you pierce it but the size of these anchors means you are likely to create broken drywall patches around the outer anchor head, be prepared to apply some polyfilla to patch up any broken areas to neaten things back up. While in most cases such damage will be covered up, in my case, some was still visible around the outer area of the anchor head.
