Great ATV but Subpar Customer Support
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I purchased this ATV straight from FamilyGoKarts website.Shipping - After hitting a shipping delay I had to pick the ATV up at the freight warehouse or wait an extra three days for it to be delivered (not seller's fault) however my ATV was damaged badly and was unrideable.Customer Support - I give FamilyGoKarts a c- for support, till this day I never received the correct replacement part for the part that was damaged during shipment. I had to to figure out and order the part myself on amazon to make this ATV operational. I contacted their Tech Support for over a week before they said they sent the part out and I still haven't received it. Also my shipment was missing pieces and they just ignored multiple request to replace those parts which were important like the battery changer.Set Up Before Riding - Before turning the ATV on I installed a NGK-CR7HSA spark plug, changed the oil to Valvoline 4 Stroke ATV Motor Oil 10W - 40 with a magnetic drain plug , charged the battery with a Schumacher SC-600A-CA SpeedCharger, and filled the tank with TruFuel 4-Cycle Ethanol-Free Fuel and finally double checked all the bolts for tightness.Tao Tao Boulder - My kid loves this ATV so far, he is a young new rider and we are taking it really slow. I have the throttle turned down to almost nothing until I feel confident in his ability to handle the ATV on his own. I did install a Thumbuddy Throttle Extender to help his little hand reach the throttle a little easier and that has made a big improvement. The brakes do squeak all the time and is a little annoying but maybe could be fixed with some adjustments. One thing I did notice was the alarm wasn't making any audible noise so that might actually be broken but the remote kill switch works just fine and I'm able turn the engine back on after unlocking it from the remote. I hope we a little attention to details and maintenance this ATV will be enjoyed for many years to come. Conclusion - This ATV was a good deal but be prepared to get your hands dirty if FamilyGoKarts flakes out on the support side. Good thing parts are cheap for this ATV and as someone who never owned a ATV I did a lot of research to keep this thing running by replacing the cheap chinese parts and running ethanol free fuel.

So much for good customer service and being a Christian family business
Please don't buy from familygokarts they do not warranty the product. They instead refer you to the Chinese company they bought the scooter from. So much for good customer service and being a Christian family business. In less than 2 months I have replaced the carburetor, a failed spark plug, throttle, throttle cable and 4 quarts of oil because it leaks. I might understand these issues if I was 12 and running like a fool but I'm 48.

Don't buy from FamilyGoKarts.com
I want to warn people from using FamilyGoKarts.com. We have had a frustrating experience with them, as they don’t seem to be a reputable business.A quick summary:We ordered an electric ATV (Sonora Model) for $470 on December 8th, 2018. This was to be a Christmas present for my children. Originally, it was to be delivered on Dec 20th, but the truck driver supposedly “forgot to put it on the truck”, and so it wasn’t delivered until Dec 27th. We charged up the battery, and then tested it out. It seemed to work fine for 20 minutes, but it then started lurching and not driving properly. They had me test the battery, then determined that the controller was bad. They shipped me a new one, but it came in a larger box that necessary, with NO padding, and NO instructions. When I requested instructions, the technician basically said “just replace it”. When I continued asking for instructions, he finally sent a 2-year old document that wasn’t even for the model I had, and some of the controller’s connectors were labeled in Chinese (which of course the document didn’t cover.)I finally decided to return the product, since we weren’t getting anywhere, and at that point the owner said I was responsible for return shipping. When I called Saia for a quote, they said it would be $674! To return it to Texas was $383 (where the unit originally shipped from). After complaining, the owner mentioned he had a discount with Saia, for “only” $199, and that due to their generous nature, they would waive the $169 “restocking fee”.So, if you want to take a chance and order from them, and it gets damaged in shipping or stops working immediately, you will be on the hook for at least $199, and maybe another $169 if they don’t feel particularly generous that day. So you could be out $368 of your $470 purchase. We are going to file complaints with the BBB and dispute the charge with our credit card company.

The machine is great, and haven't had any problems
I purchased the 400 for my 3 year old child in April. The machine is great, and haven't had any problems. Family Go Karts is a great company and were very easy to deal with. I would purchase items from them again.
