The exercises are longer making them more like songs.my son is going to start this book as well as Suzuki volume 3You will learn the trill and playing chromaticThis is the last book on the Edna Mae step by step series, he will miss them, all my children do the step by step and the dozen a day, and he will be the 1st one to finish the set. If anyone can tell me which books would be good for him after he is done with this one I will gladly appreciate.

Well worth the money.

It is getting more and more difficulty. But my kid learns more. It is classic!

I have been teaching piano for about 4 years now. I have loved this series. The books are very methodical and I have had very few problems teaching my students from these books.

I like the simplicity of the 'Step by Step' series.
