Barista Moments 20 Strong Italian Espresso Pods. High Intensity Espresso Compatible with Nespresso Original Capsules Machines (Strong, 20)

I am a coffee snob and HATE the taste of crappy metallic pods. Call me crazy but I’ve ordered ALL the different brands that sell Nespresso compatible capsules because most of them taste bland and metallic to me. I’ll save you the time and money from having to the same - Barista Moments is the BEST tasting Nespresso-compatible capsule on Amazon. Period.If you’re reading this and wondering how can I taste the difference between all of them - order a few, compare them side by side (without milk! duh), and you’ll see exactly what I mean. Most if not all the cheap Nespresso rip-offs taste bland, a little metalick-y (for lack of a better word, maybe it’s like acidic?), and they don’t froth like espresso is supposed to. I did a blind taste test and even did it on my wife and friends and we all chose the same - Barista was the only one we couldn’t tell the difference from the real deal expensive Nespresso pods.So do yourself a favor, be kind to your taste buds (and wallet, unless you can afford the fancy overpriced ones), and get these pods for your daily coffee. You won’t regret it.

This is a great alternative to the nespresso capsules for those looking to save a little money. Although they don't have a many intensities or flavor profiles, the ones they offer are good. The only flavor I haven't used is the decaf. I've reordered the espresso already and will need to restock in a few weeks.

I love the flavors in these coffee capsules. They work just as well as the original more expensive Nespresso capsules.

We use the original size Nespresso capsules with our Creatista Plus espresso machine made by Breville. I like my cappuccinos really strong so I use the Barista Moments Strong Italian Espresso Pods in addition to a Nespresso capsule like Palermo Kazaar. The Barista Moments Strong Italian Espresso Pods work fine except about 15% of the capsules crack when used (see photos). So far the cracks haven't seemed to affect the machine or the taste but it is worth keeping an eye on. Also, the boxes of pods are shipped in bubble envelopes which results in the boxes arriving damaged (see photo).

I inherited my mother's Nespresso machine, and we were really enjoying it, although not using it all that often. When our Keurig broke, we started using the Nespresso machine on a daily basis, and it became necessary to find a cheaper alternative to Nespresso pods. We are Sam's and Costco members, and even their prices weren't all that great.I buy different brand for decaf and another different brand for variety of flavors, but if you want to keep it simple, these are your pods. They are quite delicious and very cost-effective. They fit our machine (Breville Creatista Plus, if it matters) perfectly, and we've had zero issues using these.

I've tried all the others here, Bestpresso, Lavazza etc. and although I like the Bestpresso deal, they are all pretty weak. For the minor difference in price, I find these a better value for money, better taste etc. I generally make a short latte, with 2 espresso shots. Just a bit more milk than a cappuccino (I want more volume so I'm not up and down for another cup so fast) and I always use 2 espresso volume shots. I find the Espresso capsules a bit weak, not watery but less acidic, no bite. The Ristretto double shot makes a good cup with more flavour. The Lungo makes an espresso shot between the two. All in all, when I thought I would reorder once specific style, I couldn't make up my mind as I find each fits a different occasion, morning wake up, after work pick me up or evening sipping. Needless to say, I got another 120 3 blend mixed box and love it.As for function, no problems at all. I always press the bottom in and make sure all the inlet holes open up properly before putting it in the machine. I'm sure it's not necessary but I find/believe that they pop open faster when water is pushed through them and the brew is more consistent. The free, next day Prime shipping to a flight locker is pretty convenient too! NOTE: I didn't 5 star the ratings because its not perfect coffee, but a really good value for the money.

Don't be fooled by the premium-looking packaging of this product: the coffee inside is dastardly. It is just absolutely repulsive. I am far from being a fancy coffee drinker and I am able to settle for low quality coffee. THIS IS NOT COFFEE. It literally just makes a dark hot nasty water. It doesn't smell like coffee. At the first sip, I understood the mistake I made: it really just taste like burnt wet cardboard. If you bought a Nespresso machine, I bet you're aiming at some sort of quality. I don't mean high end quality coffee, I just mean a decent quality. This is not decent. You won't find it here. I tasted better instant decaf coffee than this product. Save yourself some trouble and just order from Nespresso itself; it's worth your money.

A little bit bitter and we’ve had a few faulty pods already. It feels like there’s coffee grounds in them but only slightly brown water comes out. Really strange. Haven’t had this problem with any other pods.

The flavour is not what I expected, it’s kind of watery, not as creamy as the original. But I guess you get what you pay for. The plastic is pretty hard to pierce, I guess it will damage the machine if used for a long time. The seal on some of the caps was broken, or loose and then the freshness is gone

Coffee is very good. Amazon choice of delivery courier is dismal at best. Days late. Package rides around neighbourhood for 3 days before finally getting here. Zero customer service. But this is courier not coffee itself. Coffee is great value for cost.
