Anker USB-C Hub with Ethernet, 6-in-1 Multiport USB C to Ethernet Adapter

I've tried about a dozen different USB-C port replicators, and this is my favorite one by far. This candy-bar sized hub is inexpensive, reliable, and has the important ports I need (but if you need dual monitors, look somewhere else). I use this hub with my laptop, my Android tablet, and my Steam Deck.

Extremely good quality. I've used many Anker product over the years and this one didn't disappoint! Needed it to run a laptop on my network in isolation mode and to have accessible connections for ethernet as well as a wireless mouse and extra cooling fan as my laptop has only 1 standard size USB 3.0 port. This is the mini version so It won't necessarily supply enough juice to charge your laptop at the same time (there's another 8 in 1 made by Anker for that) but it can supply enough power to maybe get you through a very trying session, very short term. Super-easy to connect and just works. Fits comfortably in my carry bag too. Very light weight, good heat dissipation although I didn't really have any or at least not much. Compatible with all the connectors you see in the picture. In my case at least, it wasn't a luxury it was a necessity and it proved it's value immediately.

I use this product for my home office. I needed an inexpensive "hub" so I could easily use multiple monitors (HDMI connections), and I use an ethernet connector from one of my Eero wifi extenders to help with my connectivity. This has worked very well for me, and I thought the price was pretty reasonable. The only thing I would have liked was for it to include a 65w power connector. It does NOT come with its own power connector so you have to purchase that separately -- even figuring in that cost, it was still not too bad (all in with separate power connector it was slightly less than $70 + tax) -- for me, and if you can get it for less, I suggest go for it. The product does get a little warm to the touch but nothing crazy. I do suggest that you turn the computer power off at night so that it can cool down. Since I am using it for work from home still, I have it funning pretty much all day, and when I forget to turn off my laptop, it runs all night too. I like that with a good power connector it does charge my laptop as well all with one USB C connection. I have been using this product for about 2 weeks and it has functioned with no issues. BTW - I forget to turn my computer off about 80% of the time so does as I say and not as I do :) Still even with keeping it connected to a computer (sleeping at night), I have had no issues for the two weeks I have owned it. (Amazon asked me about sturdiness but not sure how to rate that only owning it for two weeks as of this review -- it definitely feels solid to me) -- Also, this hub did not require me to do any driver downloads that I saw as possibility on other hubs. I would not be able to do that as my computer is a company computer and I do not have "admin rights" -- this was one of main selling features for me as I did not want to buy a hub .. have to get drivers and ask my IT support who then tells me they possibly wouldn't support it. That did NOT happen with this product which was literally up and running in as long as it took me to plug it in behind my home desk - minutes.

I purchased this for my iPad to copy files from one external SSD to another, it works but alow. I switched to iPad Pro only a couple years ago and quite happy with the light weight and enough power to edit videos. I back up my few TB video on iCloud and Dropbox but they are extremely slow, so I also have a few SanDisk SSD. External SSD is way better than traditional hard drive but still will fail over time, so I always have dual copies on different drives. I purchased this adapter to clone one 4TB drive to a new drive. It works but only on one of the two USBC ports, the other one can charge but can’t read my SanDisk (the two drives are identical and I tested both), so I have use the very slow USBA port. Copy a 5GB video from USBC to USBA took about 90 seconds, not horrible but I really wish there are two USBC data ports to speed up the process. So, if you know any hub with two fast USBC ports, please tell me. I really like Anker products, well made, durable and perform as good as advertised. I posted a question and got an answer before I purchased this, too bad my experience is different from the answer. Oh well, I’m keeping this, it still works, not as good as I hope for but better than my two old adapters. Hope this review useful to you.

Relatively cheap, lightweight, and better than most. It gets warm, but not hot. The Video adapter was immediately recognized by my Macbook and works flawlessly at all resolutions made available (much higher than Windows PCs) I used it both as the recipient of my 65W Mac charger, and the Mac received its power from this device; I also had the 65W Mac charger plugged directly into the Mac, and this plugged into the second USB-C plug on the mac. It works (HDMI monitor) both ways. It says that the ports are not for "charging", however be aware that they do charge when devices are connected, for example my iPhone to the extra USB-C port, or the USB-A port. My Logi back-lighted keyboard lights up too. I don't know why they say it is not for charging. Perhaps it is simply saying there are no ports expressly intended to do charging without connecting to your computer.

Gets the job done. I have to visit various civic groups and semi-public gathering sites to give talks, and this has never failed to connect my laptop to whatever A/V system onsite. Good price, solid product.

Anker I've have a pretty mixed experience on when it came to the product side but historically their customer service has been great and this is probably the first time I didn't have to ask for any fixes for my item as it arrived at a good price and worked as intended. Good job anker!

Produto internacional, chegou antes da data prevista. Robusto, responde muito bem em todas as conexões. É um pouco caro, mas não deixa o usuário na mão. Tenho outros produtos da marca ANKER, são todos excelentes!

Very good quality hub in terms of build quality and functionality as well. Bought it to setup Arduino uno Q Linux PC. Works well with laptop as well. Did not see any power drop on any of the usb port. Description given online is correct. Will definitely recommend it based on its overall quality.
