HiQuick 8-slot AA AAA LCD Battery Charger, 5V 2A Type C Input, with 8 x 2800mAh AA NI-MH Rechargeable Batteries, Battery and Charger Set

Bought this last year for outside xmas tree lights ( using them now). Quality seems really good ( i charge every month to keep charged) , like how charge indicator flashes until fully charged, then stops, the only dislike i can find is +/- could be clearer marked for people with aging sight ( me) . But everything else seems spot on.

The charger itself is well made and works really well, completely recharging 2800 mAh AA batteries from drained to full charge in a couple of hours. Alhough I've said in the title that the batteries aren't so good, I'll explain what I mean: the 8 batteries I bought with it don't seem to be the standard AA size, their circumference is slightly too large (I'm only talking about a couple of mm, but that makes a difference if I need to put a cover over them, and most things do require one) but they do work. The indicator lights above each individual charging slot is easy to view and understand. I haven't noticed an excessive heat level, even after a few hours.

I get through lots of batteries due to all of my fairy lights and kept buying traditional batteries and then decided to get this so I didn't need to keep buying packs of batteries every other month this will save me a lot of money in the long run! It charges the batteries really quick, it's small so it doesn't take up a lot of space and really it's an all around perfect little gadget to have. The green lights indicates that it's charging and when they are not flashing and on a permanent green it shows they are charged.

Good value. Good for my needs

This is a very easy product to use. We bought the charger and batteries as a package. You Insert the batteries into the charger and plug into a USB port. There is a display above each individual battery to show how much 'life' it has and this updates as the battery gets fully charged. The batteries took between 1 and 3 hours to charge. (Each battery took a different amount of time - most were under 2 hours) We have a wildlife camera that requires 8 batteries, and these need replacing every 7 ish days. So the cost of new batteries is very high. I put these charged batteries in and so far they have lasted 6 days with no requirement to recharge them yet. Excellent performance. The money we are going to save on replacing 8 batteries every 7 days is huge and this charger will have paid for itself after the first few recharges. When you come to buy the charger note that there are a lot of variants available so make sure you select the correct one. There are options to buy the recharger without the batteries, and also options to have either an 8 AA or 8 AAA battery charger. There is even one available with 4 AA and 4 AAA. Very pleased with how easy it is to use, how quick the batteries charge and how long they last once fully charged. One additional note - once they needed the next recharge (when they were completely empty) they needed 5-6 hours to charge fully.
