I've had several face masks, which come in handy in the cold windy Wisconsin winters. They've ranged from two eye holes to open faced and from synthetic fabrics to wool. All have the same problem - creeping across my face and affecting my vision, sometimes frosting up so much as to be uncomfortable. This balaclava fits perfectly, the face hole is well designed and it doesn't creep. Plus, the inside is soft and keeps my face and head warm. I highly recommend this product.

As I've come to expect from Mountain Made, this Balaclava is absolutely awesome. I bought several versions of this from different manufacturers with the intention of finding a warm and comfortable head and face mask that I could wear under my ski helmet. I can honestly say that no other brand even came close to the level of quality and comfort that this one did. While other brands were somewhat loose around the top of my head and face, this one was perfectly snug, without restricting airflow. Also, the materials used to make this are absolutely perfect, in that they are incredibly warm and comfortable, without being too thick, or too thin. This balaclava is the absolute perfect solution for an under the helmet ski mask. Once again, Mountain Made has come through with another stellar outdoor solution.

This is a fine product which does exactly what it claims to do. I especially liked that I could wear it around my neck, or covering my chin or going up all the way to covering my nose depending on how much of my face needed coverage. It is very easy to adjust. I had tried other balaclavas and this is clearly much better. I wore it under a hat, and sometimes skipped the hat and just wore it under the hood of a down coat. It is very warm and soft, not bulky. I am pleased with this purchase.

I wear this on construction sites under a hard hat. It blocks the wind very well and keeps me warm as well. Considering the material is rather lightweight I'm very happy with the performance. I tried a Turtle Fur and Carhartt balaclavas and found them both fitting small and having large gaps of exposed skin either on the neck and sides of the eyes. I don't have an exposure with this balaclava. The only down sides are after 5-6 hours my ears get sore from the pressure on them. Also, if you wear glasses, safety glasses or goggles they will fog up if you have your mouth covered. Not sure how to avoid this, it's probably just something one has to deal with.

I absolutely love this, it fits perfectly, snug but not too tight. It covers my neck, and it's easy to pull the flap down off of my mouth without being too loose. I work in -40 freezers for part of my shift, and this has been wonderful. I'm able to stay in there a few minutes longer than I used to, making my job more efficient. I would definitely recommend this to others, and buy again if I need to.

I liked this balaclava so much after using it once that I purchased a second one. The cap is warm and comfortable under my ski helmet, and the mask is perfect for the Covid requirements at the ski hills. It is lightweight & loose enough to NOT be restraining or retain moisture, but fitted enough to keep my face warm. Also, it’s easy to slide up to cover my face in the chair lift line or going inside the chalet to use the restroom. I'm very impressed with the Mountain Made brand, and would definitely buy from them again.

Unfortunately this was small for my husband's head. He tried it on and it would be so tight he said he wouldn't be able to wear such a tight balaclava.Very sad, because the quality seems great.But I am pointing this out to others, surprisingly, my husband's head is nothing gigantic, I would never even think it was large. He is tall though, so the overall scale might be accordingly somewhat large.We will request to return it.It might be a good choice for someone.

Not a lot to say. It's very comfortable and keeps me very warm. It's also very versatile. I use it as a full head cover, a neck cover (like a wrapper scarf), I've rolled it up for just a skull and ear cover (I'm bald), and just for my neck and face/ears. i wear glasses and the material fogs my glasses less than other gaiters I use.The fleece on the inside is very comfortable and soft.This is just all around a great option for cold weather and I would recommend it.
