The product is very nice, quite a thick coconut which is good as it keeps my Gerbils insulated. However I had no idea how to attach the base so heat left it off however they still love it! Great product and would recommend! It’s very easy to clean as you can tip anything out and £5 is a good value for the price. You can find these at pet stores which are a little bigger in size however still work amazing!

Our hamsters love them. We couldn’t get them out of them. Slightly large for their cages but we rearranged. It has exposed metal at the bottom but the hamsters don’t mind and removed the cotton bedding. Very happy with this purchase

Such an unusual item, but how ingenious. My hamster loves to sit in this whilst eating his monkey nuts. I keep it in his sand bath and he has a rest in it after bathing. It's really well made. Easy to keep clean and has lots of room in it for my Syrian hamster and a little of his bedding. It's quite heavy and looks good Very please with this item and more to the point, so is my hamster.

Took a while to arrive but worth the wait, well made

I use this coconut shell as a bedroom for my gerbils. They love it. It is snug, safe and cosy inside. Very natural environment too. No nasty plastic.

Too small for a Syrian, would be fine if you had a dwarf

The base was not attached & no way to attach so had to use without the base

I own a dwarf and syrian hamster (seperate cages ,of course) and after using this in both cages it fits them both well. The attachment on the bottom isn’t very sturdy so I would reccomend balancing it on top of some bedding so you don’t have to rely on the stand.

I bought this for my Syrian hamster. When he was younger and smaller, I thought he'd use it as a place to sleep, but he never did. Like most hamsters, he prefers to dig a hole and sleep under his bedding or in a more hidden area. Instead, I used this as a place to hide treats as a form of enrichment for him. Even though my hamster doesn't use this item for the purpose I intended, it's solidly built and looks very nice in my hamster's enclosure. If I gave this to my mice, I think they'd be much more likely to use it as a place to sleep. It's a good size for one Syrian hamster and has enough room for at least two mice to cuddle.

Our syrian hamster loves hiding things inside but it’s a bit too small for her to want to hang out in so she uses it for hoarding.
